Fuling District () is a District (China), district in central Chongqing, China. Fuling Wujiang Bridge
Fuling Wujiang Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Fuling, Chongqing, China. The bridge spans over the Wu River (Yangtze River tributary), Wu River very near its confluence with the Yangtze river. Completed in 2009 the bridge was the second over the Wu River in Fuling after the Fuling Arch Bridge that was completed in 1989. Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County () is an autonomous county for the Miao and Tujia people located in southeastern Chongqing, China, bordering Guizhou province to the south and southwest and Hubei province to the northeast. ''Zha cai'' (; ), also romanized as ''Cha tsai'', is a type of pickled mustard plant stem originating from Chongqing, China. The name may also be written in English as ''cha tsai'', ''tsa tsai'', ''jar choy'', ''jar choi'', ''ja choi'', ''ja choy'', or ''cha tsoi''. In English, it is commonly known as Sichuan vegetable, Szechwan vegetable, or Chinese pickled vegetable, although all of these terms may also refer to any of a number of other Chinese pickles, including the several other types in the Sichuan province itself. Production The pickle is made from the knobby, fist-sized, swollen green stem of ''Brassica juncea'', subspecies ''tsatsai''. The stem is first salted and pressed, and dried before being rubbed with hot red chili paste and allowed to ferment in an earthenware jar. Ba (state)
Ba () was an ancient state in eastern Sichuan, China. Its original capital was Yicheng ( Enshi City), Hubei. Ba was conquered by Qin in 316 BC. The historical Bo people and the modern Tujia people trace some of their origins back to the people of Ba. Ba, often described as a loose confederation or a collection of chiefdoms, consisted of several loosely affiliated independent clans who recognised a king. The Ba clans were highly diverse, being composed of multiple tribes. Archaeological evidence shows that the Ba people relied primarily on fishing and hunting, with low levels of agriculture and no evidence of irrigation. The Spring and Autumn period was a period in Chinese history from approximately 770 to 476 BC (or according to some authorities until 403 BC) which corresponds roughly to the first half of the Eastern Zhou period. Peter Benjamin Hessler (born June 14, 1969) is an American writer and journalist. He is the author of four books about China and has contributed numerous articles to ''The New Yorker'' and '' National Geographic'', among other publications. In 2011, Hessler received a MacArthur Fellowship in recognition and encouragement of his "keenly observed accounts of ordinary people responding to the complexities of life in such rapidly changing societies as Reform Era China." Early life Hessler grew up in Columbia, Missouri, and graduated from Hickman High School in 1988. King Zhaoxiang Of Qin
King Zhaoxiang of Qin (; 325–251 BC), or King Zhao of Qin (秦昭王), born Ying Ji (, was the king of Qin from 306 BC to 251 BC. He was the son of King Huiwen and younger brother of King Wu.
