Fredrik Ståhlberg
Major General Nils Fredrik Adam Ståhlberg (born 24 August 1966) is a Swedish Army officer. He currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Joint Operations from 1 January 2023. Prior to that, Ståhlberg served as commanding officer of the Western Military Region (2013–2017), as Chief of the Land Component Command (2017–2018), as Deputy Chief of Army (2017–2020), as Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Swedish Defence University from 2020 to 2022 and as Deputy Director of Human Resources in 2021. Early life Ståhlberg was born on 24 August 1966 in Skövde, Sweden. He grew up in Karlsborg and moved to Skövde in 1986 to do his military service as company commander in Skaraborg Regiment (P 4). Skövde
Skövde () is a locality and urban centre in Skövde Municipality and Västra Götaland County, in the Västergötland (Western Gothland region) in central Southern Sweden. The Royal Swedish Army Staff College ( sv, Kungliga Krigshögskolan, KHS) was a Swedish Army training establishment between 1866 and 1961, providing courses for army officers. It was the home of the Swedish Army's staff college, which provided advanced training for officers. It was located within the Stockholm Garrison in Stockholm, Sweden. Leni Christina Elisabeth Björklund (born 5 July 1944) is a Sweden, Swedish Swedish Social Democratic Party, Social Democratic politician. She served as Minister for Defence (Sweden), Minister for Defence from 2002 to 2006. Leni Björklund grew up in Örebro. She graduated from Uppsala University with a B.A. As a local politician, Björklund was a Commissioner in the 1970s and 1980s, first in Järfälla Municipality north of Stockholm 1977–1979, and later in Stockholm County Council 1980–1989. Joint Forces Command ( sv, Operativa insatsledningen, OPIL), was a senior command staff within the Swedish Armed Forces which operated from 2000 to 2005. The staff was located in Uppsala Garrison in Uppsala. The Joint Forces Command managed allocated joint capabilities from the three armed services. Skaraborg Brigade
Skaraborg Brigade ( sv, Skaraborgsbrigaden), designation PB 9 and MekB9, was a Swedish Army armoured brigade. It was set up in infantry regiment in 1942, as one of Sweden's first armoured brigades. The brigade's soldiers were mostly trained in the Skaraborg Regiment (P 4). History In 1994, the brigade was separated from its regiment. The brigade was decommissioned on June 30, 2000 and the regiment was re-established under its old name, Skaraborg Regiment (P 4).
