Leni Björklund
Leni Christina Elisabeth Björklund (born 5 July 1944) is a Sweden, Swedish Swedish Social Democratic Party, Social Democratic politician. She served as Minister for Defence (Sweden), Minister for Defence from 2002 to 2006. Leni Björklund grew up in Örebro. She graduated from Uppsala University with a B.A. As a local politician, Björklund was a Commissioner in the 1970s and 1980s, first in Järfälla Municipality north of Stockholm 1977–1979, and later in Stockholm County Council 1980–1989. She went on to work as Managing Director for the Planning and Rationalisation Institute for the Health and Social Services. When Prime Minister of Sweden, Prime Minister Göran Persson appointed her, on 21 October 2002, she was the secretary-general of the Church of Sweden, a position she had held since 1999. Örebro
Örebro ( , ) is the List of urban areas in Sweden by population, sixth-largest city in Sweden, the seat of Örebro Municipality, and capital of the Örebro County. It is situated by the Närke Plain, near the lake Hjälmaren, a few kilometers inland along the small river Svartån, Närke, Svartån, and has a population of approximately 126,000 in the city proper.
