Eduard Kubelík (born 8 October 2002) is a Czech sprinter. He has won Czech national titles over 200 metres indoors. Personal life Eduard Kubelík was born on 8 October 2002 in Dačice. Career He won the Czech national indoors title in Ostrava in February 2020. He was a silver medalist over 200 metres at the 2021 European Athletics U20 Championships in Tallinn. He won the Czech national indoors title for a second time in Ostrava in March 2022. In June 2022, he finished third in the 100 metres at the Czech Athletics Championships. He competed over 200 metres at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich. He competed at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome. Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills. 2024 European Athletics Championships
The 26th European Athletics Championships will be held from 7 to 12 June 2024 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy. It will be the third time Italy has staged this sporting the event after the inaugural 1934 edition in Turin, for men only, and the 1974 edition at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Thus, the city and the venue will host the event for the second time after 50 years. Stadio Olimpico staged also the 1960 Olympic Games and 1987 World Championships in Athletics. The venue was renovated in 1990 and holds up to 70,000 spectators. Sprinting is running over a short distance at the top-most speed of the body in a limited period of time.
