Joe 90 (band)
Joe 90 is an alternative rock band, which was formed from the group Gods Child, based in New York City, and was later relocated to Los Angeles. Band members include Chris Seefried, Gary DeRosa, Craig Ruda, and Adam Hamilton. History '' Gods Child'' had released a handful of albums for Warner Brothers records. They had a hit in 1994 with the song "Everybody's 1", which appeared on the '' Billboard'' "Modern Rock" and "Album Rock" categories simultaneously. The band moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and recruited Hamilton as a drummer. Seefried and Hamilton wrote the song "Sleeping Pill" to be featured on a CD sampler released by the trade magazine '' Album Network''. The song was credited to "The Amazing Adventures of Joe 90", a reference to the 1968 animated television series ''Joe 90''. The band eventually took on the name. Stephen Marcussen is the founder and chief mastering engineer at Marcussen Mastering in Hollywood, California, United States. He has been mastering music since 1979. Biography Marcussen's introduction to music recording happened in 1976 when, at the age of 19, he was offered a janitor position at Studio 55, record producer Richard Perry's Los Angeles recording studio. At Studio 55, Marcussen received an education in all facets of music recording and sound production. By the end of his Studio 55 tenure, he had earned his first album credits as an assistant engineer, working on The Manhattan Transfer's ''Pastiche'', Boz Scaggs's '' Middle Man'', and The Pointer Sisters's ''Special Things''. Rex's " Ride a White Swan" in 1970, the first of many hits in collaboration with Marc Bolan. Adam Fredric Duritz (born August 1, 1964) is an American singer, best known as the frontman for the rock band Counting Crows, of which he is a founding member and principal composer. Since its founding in 1991, Counting Crows has sold over 20 million records, released seven studio albums that have been certified gold or platinum, and been nominated for two Grammy Awards and an Academy Award.
