Adam Duritz
Adam Fredric Duritz (born August 1, 1964) is an American singer, best known as the frontman for the rock band Counting Crows, of which he is a founding member and principal composer. Since its founding in 1991, Counting Crows has sold over 20 million records, released seven studio albums that have been certified gold or platinum, and been nominated for two Grammy Awards and an Academy Award. Duritz has recorded solo material of his own and has collaborated with other musical acts. He has also founded two record labels, ''E Pluribus Unum'' and ''Tyrannosaurus Records''. His work scoring music for film has been recognized by the music industry, notably with an award from BMI for co-writing the song " Accidentally in Love" for the movie ''Shrek 2''. Counting Crows is an American rock band from San Francisco, California. Formed in 1991, the band consists of guitarist David Bryson, drummer Jim Bogios, vocalist Adam Duritz, keyboardist Charlie Gillingham, David Immerglück, bass guitarist Millard Powers, and guitarist Dan Vickrey. ''Daisy'' is the second studio album from the American rock band, Dog's Eye View. The follow-up to the band's 1995 debut album, ''Happy Nowhere'', Daisy was released on August 19, 1997. Production Dog's Eye View's singer and songwriter, Peter Stuart, publicly stated that work for ''Daisy'' was more difficult for him than for 1995's ''Happy Nowhere''. ''Propeller'' is a 2002 studio album from the American singer-songwriter Peter Stuart. The album marked Stuart's solo debut. Stuart had previously formed the rock band Dog's Eye View in 1994. Peter Stuart is an American singer-songwriter. Stuart is the founder and lead singer of the band Dog's Eye View, which is best known for its single, "Everything Falls Apart". In 2002, he released a solo album entitled ''Propeller''. ''Hard Candy'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band Counting Crows, released in the United Kingdom on July 7, 2002, and the following day in the United States. The album features the hidden track "Big Yellow Taxi", a Joni Mitchell cover. This was one of their biggest radio hits from the album; re-releases were revised to mention the song. Originally the song did not include Vanessa Carlton and the standard version caught the ear of a producer who added it to the movie ''Two Weeks Notice'' adding Carlton's voice to the track. The Wallflowers is an American rock solo project of American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jakob Dylan.
