Dimlight is a Greek symphonic metal band. The band formed in 2006 and is based in Athens, Greece Dimlight have toured extensively in Europe and the Middle East. History Forming and debut album: ''Obtenebration'' (2009) Dimlight was formed in early 2006 by Peter Miliadis and Efhimis Papanikos. Although the band was formed in 2006 it was almost three years before they released their first full-length album called ''Obtenebration'' under the label Emotion Art Ltd. The album was recorded at Baseline studios, got mixed by Spiros Aspiotis and mastered in Tailor Maid Studio by Peter In de Betou in Sweden. Psychosynthesis (2012), Death of Efthimis, Departure of Sanna and New Vocalist Around mid-2010, Dimlight started working on new material and in 2012 released their second studio album called ''Psychosynthesis''. Metal Female Voices Festival
Metal Female Voices Fest was a heavy metal music festival dedicated to List of female heavy metal singers, female vocalists, held annually in the Oktoberhallen in Wieze, Belgium from 2003 to 2016. It was organized by the ''Metal Organisation'', which later changed into "2 Wild 4 agency". The festival enables smaller and unknown bands within the female fronted genre to perform on a big stage beside bigger and more famous bands. Over the years, they gave away special awards or organized a warm-up which allowed bands to compete to perform on the festival for the next year. On 13 February 2017, it was announced that the Metal Female Voices Fest is put on indefinite hold. On 10 December 2018, it has been confirmed that a Japanese edition of MFVF will take place in Osaka and Tokyo in April 2019. In 2020, the official website of the Metal Female Voices Fest went dead. Draconian (band)
Draconian is a Swedish gothic/doom metal band formed in Säffle in 1994. History Formation and demos (1994–2002 ) Draconian was formed in 1994 in Säffle, Sweden. In May 1994, drummer and vocalist Johan Ericson, bassist and vocalist Jesper Stolpe and guitarist Andy Hindenäs assembled the band Kerberos, initially playing melodic death metal with black metal influences. Seven months later, lead vocalist and lyrics composer Anders Jacobsson joined the band, and its name changed to Draconian. Their first demo, ''Shades of a Lost Moon'', was recorded in 1995.
