Sliptrick Records is an independent record label specializing in music genres such as Heavy metal, Hard rock, Death Metal, Black Metal, Metalcore (see "genres" below)... The label is international but currently based in Liepāja, Latvia. Notable acts released through Sliptrick Records include Veonity, Slot, Saber Tiger, Louna, Angelseed, Doll$Boxx (US Release only) and Lovebites (US Release only). The label operates under the umbrella organisation entitled The Dead Pulse group which comprises Sliptrick Records, Alternate Records and Go Loud Agency (booking) History Started primarily by Carlo Muselli (who talked about Sliptrick Records in Infrared Magazine) looking to promote Italian rock music to an international audience, the label quickly grew from its humble beginnings of 15-20 hard-core rock and punk bands to over 150 separate releases from acts around the world in 2017 alone. Lovebites (band)
Lovebites (stylized as LOVEBITES) is a Japanese heavy metal music, heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by former Destrose members Miho and Haruna. Its lineup currently consists of Haruna on drums, Midori and Miyako on guitar, Asami on vocals, and Fami on bass. After signing to Victor Entertainment, the group released both their debut EP and their first album in 2017, ''The Lovebites EP'' and ''Awakening from Abyss'', before performing their first overseas concerts at the end of the year. Mary's Blood
was a Japanese all-female heavy metal band from Tokyo, formed in 2009 by four former members of Destrose. It consisted of vocalist Eye, drummer Mari, guitarist Saki and bassist Rio since 2012. After releasing three EPs as an independent band, they signed to Nippon Columbia for their first album, ''Countdown to Evolution'' (2014). Mary's Blood then switched to Victor Entertainment for the release of ''Bloody Palace'' (2015) and ''Fate'' (2016). They signed to Tokuma Japan Communications in 2018 and released three further studio albums, including their highest-charting, ''Confessions'' (2019). Gory Blister is an Italian technical death metal band from Milan, formed in 1991. Their lyrical themes range from psychology to modern literature/poetry and outer space. History The band was formed in 1991 and after two demos, "Spoilt By Greed" in 1991 and "Hanging Down the Sounds" in 1993, they released their first EP, '' Cognitive Sinergy'' in 1997. Dimlight is a Greek symphonic metal band. The band formed in 2006 and is based in Athens, Greece Dimlight have toured extensively in Europe and the Middle East. Curimus
Curimus is a Finnish thrash / death metal band formed in 2004. History The original line-up included Juha-Matti Helmi (guitar), Jucca Ääri (drums) and Jarno Ääri (bass). Marko Silvennoinen (vocals) joined the band in the same year. The first demo was released in 2006. It included the song "Fatal Belief" which was also released as a music video. Juho Manninen replaced Jarno Ääri and the second demo "Under My Skin" was released in 2008. The line-up stayed the same until 2009. Aria (russian: Ария, Ariya) is a Russian heavy metal music, heavy metal band that was formed in 1985 in Moscow. Although it was not the first Soviet band to play heavy music, Aria was the first to break through to mainstream media and commercial success. According to several public polls, Aria ranks among top 10 most popular Rock music in Russia, Russian rock bands. Their sound resembled that of NWOBHM bands, for which they were dubbed the "Russian Iron Maiden" in the media. Alberto Rigoni
Alberto Rigoni is an Italian bass guitarist and composer who has recorded solo and as a member of the groups Ascra, Twinspirits, BAD As, Bassists Alliance, and Natural Born Machine. He has also contributed to recordings by a variety of artists. Between 2008 and 2023, Rigoni released thirteen solo albums that have featured guests such as Jordan Rudess, Gavin Harrison, Kevin Moore, Goran Edman, Marco Minnemann, Thomas Lang, Nathan East, Billy Sheehan, and Leland Sklar. Djent () is a subgenre of progressive metal characterised by its use of off-beat and complex rhythm patterns. Its distinctive sound is that of high-gain, distorted, palm-muted, down-tuned strings.
