Cintia Rodríguez
Cintia Rodríguez Rodríguez (born November 16, 1994) is a retired Spanish artistic gymnast. She helped Spain qualify a women's team for the 2020 Summer Olympics through her performances at the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, marking the first time Spain have sent a women's team since Athens 2004. Rodriguez was part of the Spanish team that won the bronze medal at the 2018 Mediterranean Games. She also won an individual bronze medal on the floor exercise. Personal life Rodriguez was born in Inca, Mallorca, and took up gymnastics at age 3, inspired by her sister. Rodriguez studies criminology through the National University of Distance Education. She enjoys cycling in her free time and is a fan of road bicycle racing. She speaks Catalan, English and Italian in addition to Spanish. Inca () is a town on the Spanish island of Mallorca. The population of the municipality is 32,137 (2018) in an area of 58.4 km². 2017 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships was the forty-seventh edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from October 2–8, 2017, at the Montreal Olympic Stadium, Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event marked the first time since 2003 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2003 that the Championships had been held in North America. Montreal was also the host of the 1985 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 1985 World Championships and the 1976 Summer Olympics. The 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held in Nanning, China at the Guangxi Gymnasium from 3–12 October 2014. The competition was the fourth time a World Artistic Gymnastics Championships has been held in the continent of Asia. Competition schedule All times are CST (UTC+8). Venues Main Arena The main arena where the competition was held was the Guangxi Gymnasium, which opened in 2012. Training Gymnasium The training facility for the competition was held at the Li Ning Sports Park. Roxana Daniela Popa Nedelcu (born June 2, 1997 in Constanța) is a Romanian-born Spanish artistic gymnast who has represented Spain in all her international competitions. Popa first came into contact with gymnastics in her native Romania, where there is a long tradition in the sport, and there she had her early training. Now, she trains at the Spanish National Training Center (CARD), and is a part of the EGAD Los Cantos Alcorcon in Madrid. A member of the Spain women's national gymnastics team, she competed at the 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2019 World Championships, as well as the 2020 Summer Olympics.
