2017 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships was the forty-seventh edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from October 2–8, 2017, at the Montreal Olympic Stadium, Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event marked the first time since 2003 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2003 that the Championships had been held in North America. Montreal was also the host of the 1985 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 1985 World Championships and the 1976 Summer Olympics. Artem Dolgopyat
Artem Olegovich Dolgopyat ( he, ארטיום אולגוביץ' דולגופיאט; ukr, Артем Олегович Долгопят; born 16 June 1997) is a Ukrainian-born Israeli artistic gymnast. He is the 2020 Olympic champion on floor exercise. He also won two silver medals at the 2017 and 2019 World Championships on the floor exercise, and is the 2020 European champion of that exercise. Dolgopyat is a floor exercise specialist and is noted for executing a triple back on that exercise. In 2022, he won the gold medal for his floor exercise at the European Gymnastics Championships in Tokyo Biography Artem Dolgopyat was born in Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro), Ukraine. Dolgopyat's father Oleg is a former gymnast and is of Jewish descent, whereas Dolgopyat's mother Angela Bilan is not Jewish. In 2009 at the age of 12, Dolgopyat immigrated with his family to Israel. He joined the gymnastics team of Maccabi Tel Aviv where he was trained by Israeli coach Sergey Vaisburg.

Epke Zonderland
Epke Jan Zonderland (born 16 April 1986) is a Dutch artistic gymnast and the 2012 Olympic gold medallist on high bar. He is a 4-time Olympian (2008–20) and has also taken 3 World Championships golds on high bar at the 2013, 2014 and 2018 World Championships, the first man to secure this feat on that apparatus. Tin Srbić
Tin Srbić (born 11 September 1996) is a Croatian artistic gymnast. He is the 2017 World champion on the horizontal bar and the first Croatian to win a gold medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He is also the 2020 Olympic, 2019 World, and two-time European (2019, 2020) silver medalist on the horizontal bar. He is the second Croatian gymnast to win an Olympic medal, after Filip Ude. Oleg Yuriyovych Vernyayev ( uk, Олег Юрійович Верняєв; born 29 September 1993) is a Ukrainian artistic gymnast. He is the 2016 Olympic parallel bars champion and individual all-around silver medalist. Vernyayev is also the 2014 World parallel bars champion, the 2015 European individual all-around champion and the 2017 European individual all-around champion. Liu Yang (; born 10 September 1994) is a Chinese artistic gymnast. He is the 2020 Olympic and 2014 World champion on rings. He was a member of the Chinese team who won gold at the 2014 World Championships and also won bronze in the team competition at the 2016 Olympics.
