Bollnäs GoIF/BF (Bollnäs GIF), "Giffarna", is a bandy club founded in 1895 from Bollnäs in Sweden who play at Sävstaås Idrottspark. The club won the World Cup in 2005. and 2019. Elitserien (bandy)
The Elitserien (literally, the "Elite League") ( sv, Elitserien i bandy) is since the 2007–08 season the highest bandy league in Sweden. It consists of 14 teams. The season ends with one final game in March. The final was held at Studenternas IP in Uppsala from 1991 until 2012. In 2013 and 2014 the final was played at Friends Arena in Solna, and from 2015 to 2017 it was played at the Tele2 Arena. The final returned to 4,600-capacity Studenternas IP indoor stadium in 2018. Season structure During the regular season the fourteen teams play each other team at home and away - a total of 26 games per team. The top six teams directly qualify for the playoffs for the league championship, while the teams ranked from 7th to 10th enter an additional play-off to decide which teams take the other two championship play-off places. FIB Champions Cup (or Edsbyn Champions Cup) is an international (pre-season) bandy tournament held annually in September on indoor Dina-Arena in Edsbyn, Sweden from 2004 when 8 strongest clubs from Sweden (6 from Elitserien) and Russia (2) competed for the cup for the first time. Svenska Cupen (bandy)
Svenska Cupen ( eng, The Swedish Cup), ''Svenska Cupen i bandy'', is a Single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition in Swedish bandy and the main bandy cup only open for domestic Swedish teams. The first year was 2005 Svenska cupen, 2005, and was won by Edsbyns IF. The first women's edition was played in 2019, and won by Västerås SK Dambandy, Västerås SK. Starting for the second year of the cup, a qualification round was made with matches played at different locations around Sweden in January. The real cup was then played at one location in the beginning of or mid-October. Since bandy is a winter sport with a season from autumn to spring, this meant that the qualification games were played in another season than the final cup was played, which could mean that a qualified club could come to the cup with a team consisting of many other players compared to the qualification round, as players are usually traded during the summer. Jesper Larsson (bandy)
Jesper Larsson (; born 27 July 1973) is a Swedish former handball player, who played as a goalkeeper. He made his debut for IFK Kristianstad in 1991–92, helping the team to reach promotion to Elitserien in the same season. He played three more seasons for the club before joining league rivals HK Drott. In 1997, Larsson signed for German second division club HSG Nordhorn. In 1999 he helped the team to promotion to the Handball-Bundesliga. After finishing second in the league with Nordhorn in 2001–02, he joined league rivals TUSEM Essen. After two seasons he returned to Nordhorn, where he played until 2007. Larsson returned to Sweden for the 2007–08 season, playing for H 43 Lund. Two years later, he returned to Kristianstad.
