Baosteel (subsidiary)
Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., also known as Baoshan Iron & Steel and Baosteel, is a maker of steel based in Shanghai, China, and a subsidiary of state-owned China Baowu Steel Group (formerly Baosteel Group). It is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. History In 2000, the Baosteel Group split, creating the new Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., which is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 12 December 2000. It was the largest initial public offering in Mainland China up to that time, raising CNY 7.7 billion despite being limited to domestic investors. It was rumoured that the company has planned to list in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in the same year. (and again in 2007) However, they were never materialized. Zhanjiang (), historically spelled Tsamkong, is a prefecture-level city at the southwestern end of Guangdong province, People's Republic of China, facing Haikou city to the south. Yancheng
Yancheng () is a prefecture-level city in northeastern Jiangsu province of China, province, People's Republic of China. As the city with the largest jurisdictional area in Jiangsu, Yancheng borders Lianyungang to the north, Huai'an to the west, Yangzhou and Taizhou, Jiangsu, Taizhou to the southwest, Nantong to the south, and the Yellow Sea to the east. B shares (, officially Domestically Listed Foreign Investment Shares) on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges refers to those that are traded in foreign currencies. Shares that are traded on the two mainland Chinese stock exchanges in Renminbi, the currency in mainland China, are called A shares. History B shares were limited to foreign investment until 19 February 2001, when the China Securities Regulatory Commission began permitting the exchange of B shares via the secondary market to domestic citizens.
