Petra Frey
Petra Frey (born 27 June 1978, in Wattens), is an Austrian singer. She has released twelve studio albums and five compilation albums and participated in the Eurovision Song Contest. Biography Frey released her debut album, ''Bloß Träume im Kopf'' in 1993. Petra represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 with the song " Für den Frieden der Welt" ''(For the peace of the world)'', which came 17th in the international final. She also came second in the Austrian national final in 2003 with the song ''This Night Should Never End''. In 2007, after a few years break, Petra returned to the schlager scene with her new album ''Göttlich weiblich'', her first on the ''DA Records'' label. Petra attempted to represent Austria at Eurovision again in 2011, with ''Send a Little Smile'', but she failed to qualify from the Internet semi final stage. Simone Stelzer
Simone Stelzer (born 1 October 1969) is an Austrian pop singer.Austrian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. Her song "Keine Mauern mehr" was initially placed second, however, several days after the final it was discovered that winning song "Das Beste" performed by Duett (band), Duett had participated in a German national final in 1988. Duett were therefore disqualified and Simone was announced as the Austrian Eurovision entrant. "Keine Mauern mehr" was placed tenth in the Eurovision Song Contest in Zagreb. Simone participated in the 1994 Austrian national final, "Ein Lied für Dublin", with the song "Radio", which was placed fourth. Etta Scollo
Etta Scollo (born 27 May 1958) is an Italian singer and songwriter. Her music combines traditional Sicilian music, pop and jazz. Biography Born in Catania, Italy, she moved to Turin to study Architecture. She abandoned her studies to devote herself to music. Between 1983 and 1987 she worked with artists such as saxophonist Eddie Davis, Sunnyland Slim and Champion Jack Dupree, both in the recording studio and in concerts. Chance encounters with producers from the Pop music scene led to the recording of the Paul McCartney song ''Oh! Darling'', which Etta adapted with Italian lyrics in 1988. This song became No. 1 in the Austrian charts. In the 1990s she moved to Hamburg where she, along with the musical Ensemble L'art pour l'Art, undertook experiments with contemporary music.
