Petra Frey
Petra Frey (born 27 June 1978, in Wattens), is an Austrian singer. She has released twelve studio albums and five compilation albums and participated in the Eurovision Song Contest. Biography Frey released her debut album, ''Bloß Träume im Kopf'' in 1993. Petra represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 with the song " Für den Frieden der Welt" ''(For the peace of the world)'', which came 17th in the international final. She also came second in the Austrian national final in 2003 with the song ''This Night Should Never End''. In 2007, after a few years break, Petra returned to the schlager scene with her new album ''Göttlich weiblich'', her first on the ''DA Records'' label. Petra attempted to represent Austria at Eurovision again in 2011, with ''Send a Little Smile'', but she failed to qualify from the Internet semi final stage. Wattens
Wattens is a market town of the Innsbruck-Land District in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is chiefly known as home of the Swarovski crystal glass company. Geography Wattens is located in the Lower Inn Valley of North Tyrol, about east of Innsbruck. The municipal area stretches from the southern shore of the Inn River into the Wattental side valley, leading to the Wattentaler Lizum head within the Tux Alps range. It has access to the Inn Valley Autobahn (A 12) and is served by ÖBB trains at Fritzens-Wattens station on the Lower Inn Valley Railway line. Anton Hans Sarközi as Tony Wegas (born 3 May 1965 in Oberschützen) is an Austrian singer and television actor. Biography Wegas participated in "Ein Lied für Rom", the Austrian heat of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991 with the song "Wunder dieser Welt". The song was placed second but Wegas was invited to represent Austria in 1992. He performed "Zusammen geh'n" in Malmö and despite being one of the favourites to win, could only manage tenth place. Austrian television decided to give him another chance in 1993 and he performed all of the songs in the national selection contest, "Veni Vidi Wegas". The winning song, " Maria Magdalena" came a disappointing fourteenth in Millstreet. ''Die große Chance'' ("The Big Chance") is an Austrian talent television show, originally aired between 1980 and 1990, then revived in 2011. Background ''Die große Chance'' was originally broadcast by the Österreichischen Rundfunk (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation) showing on prime time between 1980 and 1990. Peter Rapp hosted the show from 1980 to 1988. Thomas Klock took over in 1988 and Elisabeth Engstler in 1989 and 1990.
