Association Of National Olympic Committees
The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) is an international organization that affiliates the current 206 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Each year it gathers all its members at the ANOC General Assembly, in which the ANOC Awards are awarded to NOCs and their athletes since 2014. The association organises the ANOC World Beach Games, a multi-sport event held every two years. History The ANOC was established in June 1979 during the Constitutive General Assembly in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mario Vázquez Raña (7 June 1932 – 8 February 2015) was a Mexican businessman and sports administrator, who served on both national and Olympic committees. He served as a member of the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) until 2012. He was the President of the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO). Spyros Capralos (, born 15 April 1955 in Athens) is a Greek former water polo player and sports executive. He represented Greece at the 1980 and 1984 Summer Olympics. He has been the president of the Hellenic Olympic Committee since 2009 and the president of the European Olympic Committees since 2021. He has also been a member of the International Olympic Committee since 2019. European Olympic Committees
The European Olympic Committees is an organisation based in Rome, Italy, consisting of 50 National Olympic Committees from the continent of Europe.EOC members include transcontinental countries Turkey and the Russian Federation, as well as Israel, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia which are geographically in Asia but due to political-cultural reasons are often assigned to Europe. Randhir Singh (born 18 October 1946) is an Indian sports administrator and a former Olympic-level trap and skeet shooter. Singh is one of India's most influential sports administrators and is noted for his wide-ranging international connections. He has held many roles in his sports administration career. Singh is the Acting President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), beginning his term on 11 September 2021.
