Arne Thoms
Arne Thoms (born 1 January 1971) is a former professional tennis player from Germany. Career As a junior, Thoms had a good year in 1989, making the semi-finals of the boys' singles at Wimbledon and the quarter-finals at Roland Garros. Thoms made his first big impression on the ATP Tour with his performance at the Manchester Open in 1991. He was a quarter-finalist, beating two top 30 players en route, Horst Skoff and Omar Camporese. The following year he had an upset win over world number six Ivan Lendl in the opening round of the 1992 Milan Indoor tournament, which he entered as a qualifier. He did well again at Manchester in 1992, reaching another quarter-final. The German was also a quarter-finalist at both Newport and Zaragoza in 1993 and at the 1994 CA-TennisTrophy in Vienna. Jeff "Salzy" Salzenstein (born October 14, 1973) is an American left-handed former professional tennis player. In 1986 he won the US Boys' 12 National Hard Court Tennis Singles Championship and Doubles Championship. Neumünster () is a city in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Filip Dewulf (born 15 March 1972) is a former professional male tennis player from Belgium. In his career, he won two ATP Tour singles titles and one title in doubles. In 1997 he reached the semifinals of the French Open, his best singles result ever and the first Belgian tennis player (male or female) to reach the semi-final at a Grand Slam tournament. Markus Naewie (born 7 January 1970) is a former professional tennis player from Germany. Naewie had his best year on tour in 1992, when he broke into the top 100 of the ATP rankings. He defeated Jason Stoltenberg in the French Open that year and almost upset 14th seed Alexander Volkov in the second round, taking him to five sets. Eyal Erlich ( he, אייל ארליך; born 1 January 1977) is a former professional tennis player from Israel. Bernd Karbacher (born 3 April 1968) is a German retired professional tennis player. His highest ATP singles ranking is world No. 22, which he reached on 17 April 1995.
