Alexandre Kaleka
Alexandre Kaleka (born 6 March 1987) is a French professional golfer. Kaleka turned professional in July 2009 and won his first tournament as a professional, the Allianz EurOpen de Lyon on the Challenge Tour. The win gave him a full exemption on the Challenge Tour in 2010, where a consistent season saw him finish in 20th place on the Order of Merit, giving him the final available European Tour card for 2011. He further improved his status at the end-of-year qualifying school. He struggled in his rookie year on the European Tour, making only 10 of 27 cuts while finishing 159th on the Order of Merit. His best result came at the Irish Open where he finished in fifth. Kaleka returned to the Challenge Tour in 2012. In September, he won the M2M Russian Challenge Cup. Bonallack Trophy
The Bonallack Trophy is an amateur golf competition on the model of the Ryder Cup which opposes every two years a European team and a team representing Asia/Pacific. The venue alternates between courses in Europe and Asia/Pacific. The first competition took place in 1998 in Perth, Australia. The St Andrews Trophy is a biennial men's team golf tournament contested between teams of amateur golfers representing Great Britain & Ireland and the Continent of Europe. It takes its name from St Andrews in Scotland. 2008 Eisenhower Trophy
The 2008 Eisenhower Trophy took place 16–19 October at Royal Adelaide Golf Club and on the West course at The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia. It was the 26th World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy and the second to be held in Australia. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 65 three-man teams. The best two scores for each round counted towards the team total. Each team played two rounds on the two courses. The leading teams played at The Grange Golf Club on the third day and at Royal Adelaide Golf Club on the final day. Eisenhower Trophy
The Eisenhower Trophy (World Men's Amateur Team Championships) is the biennial World Amateur Team Championship for men organized by the International Golf Federation. Since the tournament was first played in 1958, it is named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, the President of the United States at the time, who was a keen amateur golfer. The equivalent competition for women is the Espirito Santo Trophy. Results The 1958 championship resulted in a tie. There was an 18-hole playoff which Australia won with a score of 222 to the United States 224. From 1958 to 2000 the teams had four players with the best three scores counting for each round. The European Amateur Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for men organised by the European Golf Association which was introduced in 1959.
