Aguinaldo Fonseca
Aguinaldo Fonseca (22 September 1922; Mindelo, Cape Verde – 24 January 2014; Lisbon, Portugal) was a Cape Verdean poet. Biography Aguinaldo Fonseca was born in Mindelo, capital of the island of São Vicente on 22 September 1922. Aguinaldo Fonseca moved to Lisbon in 1945 and published several poems in different Portuguese journals. He first collaborated on the journal '' Claridade'' in 1945 and later on the seminary '' Mundo Literário'' (''World of Literature'') (1946-1948). He was later known as "the forgotten poet", even they were published in the "Linha do Horizonte" collection in 1951, seven years later, reunited in a selection of poems in a cultural supplement "NotÃcias de Cabo Verde", he portrayed Michel Laban, an Algerian born French investigator who studied in Lusophony literature, that author died in Paris in December 2008. ''Claridade'' (Portuguese for "light") was a literary review inaugurated in 1936 in the city of Mindelo on the island of São Vicente, Cape Verde. It was part of a movement of cultural, social, and political emancipations of the Cape Verdean society. The founding contributors were Manuel Lopes, Baltasar Lopes da Silva, who used the poetic pseudonym of Osvaldo Alcântara, and Jorge Barbosa, born in the Islands of São Nicolau, Santiago and São Vicente, respectively. ''Mundo literário: semanário de crÃtica e informação literária, cientÃfica e artÃstica'' (Portuguese for "World Literature") was a Portuguese review published in Lisbon from 1946 to 1948. The seminary's weekly director-general was Jaime Cortesão Casimiro and its literary head was Adolfo Casais Monteiro, they formed a directive body to the journal, Emil Andersen and LuÃs de Sousa Rebelo. Its creation occurs of a context of lack of freedom of the press, being in the sights of censorship. 53 issues were made. Afonso Dias
Afonso Dias is a Portuguese singer, musician, poet and actor. He was deputy of the Constitution Assembly of 1975/76 under the Popular Democratic Union (Portugal) (later, he did not exercise in other political offices). In music, he was one of the founders of Grupo de Acção Cultural (GAC, the Cultural Group Action). He was elected in numerous presentation inside and outside Portugal, though he recorded different discs in the studio.
