2013 BRDC Formula 4 Championship
The 2013 BRDC Formula 4 Championship was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across England. The championship features a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers competing in 2 litre Duratec single seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. The 2013 season was the inaugural BRDC Formula 4 Championship organized by the British Racing Drivers' Club in the United Kingdom. The season began at Silverstone Circuit on 27 April and ended on 29 September at Donington Park. The series had eight triple header events all held in the United Kingdom. Jake Hughes became the first drivers' champion after taking four race wins. He finished ahead of HHC Motorsport's driver Charlie Robertson, who won in Brands Hatch and Donington Park. Jake Hughes
Jake Hughes (born 30 May 1994) is a British racing driver and winner of the inaugural BRDC Formula 4 Championship. He has won multiple races at Formula 3 level, and is set to compete in the 2022–23 Formula E season with Neom McLaren. Career Karting Hughes started his racing career in karting in 2010 at the age of sixteen, finishing eleventh in the Junior Class of the Easykart UK Championship. In 2011, he finished fifth in the Super 1 National Formula KGP Championship. He stayed in the same championship for 2012, improving to fourth in the series standings, whilst also winning the Easykart UK Championship in the Light category. Local championships Hughes made his single-seaters debut in 2012 at Silverstone in the Formula Renault BARC Championship with Antel Motorsport and contested in the Rockingham round of the Formula Renault BARC Winter Series. Hillspeed
Hillspeed is a motor racing team based in the United Kingdom. They currently participate in the GB3 Championship and the GB4 Championship. The team was founded in 1970 in order to run the British Saloon Car Championship entry of Morgan Ollerenshaw. In subsequent years, the team focused primarily on single-seater racing. Later, the company would also be involved in high performance road cars. In recent years, Hillspeed have been one of the most successful teams in breaking new talent in junior racing series, winning the 2010 Formula Renault BARC season with Alice Powell as well as back-to-back Ginetta Junior championships with Tom Ingram in 2010 and Seb Morris in 2011. BRDC British Formula 3 Championship Seasons
The British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) is an exclusive invitation-only members club for racecar drivers who are judged to have achieved success in the upper levels of motor sport for a number of seasons. Except under exceptional circumstances, members must have been born in the United Kingdom or Commonwealth. The BRDC owns and operates Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom. Oulton Park
Oulton Park is a hard surfaced track used for motor racing, close to the village of Little Budworth, Cheshire, England. It is about from Winsford, from Chester city centre, from Northwich and from Warrington, with a nearby rail connection along the Mid-Cheshire Line. 2013 British GT Season
The 2013 Avon Tyres British GT season was the 21st season of the British GT Championship. The season began on 30 March at Oulton Park and finished on 6 October at Donington Park, after ten rounds held over seven meetings. 2013 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters Season
The 2013 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters was the twenty-seventh season of premier German touring car championship and also fourteenth season under the moniker of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since the series' resumption in 2000. Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit
Snetterton Circuit is a motor racing course in Norfolk, England, originally opened in 1953. Owned by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation, it is situated on the A11 road north-east of the town of Thetford and south-west of the city of Norwich.
