2017–18 Ranji Trophy Group A
The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the first-class cricket tournament in India. It was contested by 28 teams divided into four groups, each containing seven teams. The top two teams from Group A progressed to the quarterfinals of the competition. Both of Hyderabad's first two matches were abandoned due to rain. Following the conclusion of the sixth round of fixtures, both Karnataka and Delhi had progressed to the knockout stage of the competition. Board Of Control For Cricket In India
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the national governing body for cricket in India. Its headquarters are situated at Cricket centre, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The BCCI is the richest governing body of cricket in the world and is part of the ''Big Three'' of international cricket, along with Cricket Australia and the England and Wales Cricket Board. Abu Nechim Ahmed (born 5 November 1988) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Nagaland cricket team, Nagaland in domestic cricket and played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. The Arun Jaitley Stadium is a cricket stadium owned and operated the Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) and located on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Occurrence At least one batter is not out at the end of every innings, because once ten batters are out, the eleventh has no partner to bat on with so the innings ends.
