Abu Nechim
Abu Nechim Ahmed (born 5 November 1988) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Nagaland cricket team, Nagaland in domestic cricket and played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. He is a right-arm fast bowler and right-handed lower order batsman. He captained Assam cricket team in the Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Career Abu made his First-class cricket, first-class debut on 1 December 2005 against Madhya Pradesh cricket team, Madhya Pradesh at Indore in the 2005–06 Ranji Trophy. From 2010 to 2013 he represented Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. He has represented India at the U-19 level many times, played in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. Madhya Pradesh Cricket Team
The Madhya Pradesh cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It competes in the Ranji Trophy. History Holkar cricket team A Central India team competed in the Ranji Trophy between 1934–35 and 1939–40, playing 12 matches. In 1941, Holkar entered the competition, organised and managed by King Yashwantrao Holkar II belonging to the Holkar dynasty of the Marathas. In the fourteen years of its existence Holkar, which included such players as C. K. Nayudu and Mushtaq Ali, won the title four times and finished second on six other occasions. 2017–18 Ranji Trophy
The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between October 2017 and January 2018. Vidarbha won the tournament, beating Delhi by 9 wickets in the final, to win their first Ranji Trophy title. Vidarbha made their Ranji Trophy debut in the 1957–58 season, making it the third-longest wait before a team won their maiden title. Vidarbha's captain, Faiz Fazal, said that "winning the Ranji Trophy has been the biggest achievement in my career". The previous season was played at neutral venues. Indian Cricket League
The Indian Cricket League (ICL) was a private cricket league funded by Zee Entertainment Enterprises that operated between 2007 and 2009 in India. Its two seasons included tournaments between four international teams (World XI, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh) and separate tournaments between nine domestic teams notionally located in major Indian cities as well as Lahore, Pakistan and Dhaka, Bangladesh. The matches were played in the Twenty20 format, and was the first domestic Twenty20 league in India. There was also a planned domestic 50-over tournament, but this did not happen. The ICL lacked the support of the Board of Control for Cricket in India and International Cricket Council, which placed it at a major disadvantage when compared to other cricket competitions.
