Rahul Singh (born 13 September 1997) is an Indian cricketer. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler who plays for Assam. He made his first-class debut for Assam in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy on 6 October 2017. He made his List A debut for Assam in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 14 February 2018. In August 2020, he was one of four cricketers from Assam to be selected as part of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL). Silchar
Silchar is a city and the headquarters of the Cachar district of the state of Assam, India. It is located south east of Guwahati. The Assam cricket team is a domestic cricket team represents the Indian state of Assam, run by the Assam Cricket Association. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. 2017–18 Ranji Trophy
The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between October 2017 and January 2018. The 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 16th season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a List A cricket tournament in India. It was contested by the 28 domestic cricket teams of India. The 2020 Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 13 and branded as Dream11 Indian Premier League 2020, was the thirteenth season of the IPL, a professional Twenty20 cricket (T20) league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2008. Twenty20
Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs.
