2014 SportsCar Grand Prix
The 2014 Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix presented by Hawk Performance was a sports car racing event held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park near Bowmanville, Ontario from July 10 to the 13, 2014. The race was the eighth round of the inaugural Tudor United SportsCar Championship, replacing the former American Le Mans Series that previously held the Grand Prix since 1999. The race marked the 29th IMSA sanctioned sports car race held at the facility. Daytona Prototypes were introduced to the race for the first time as part of the development of the United SportsCar Championship. The race was won by OAK Racing's Morgan LMP2 - Nissan driven by Olivier Pla and Gustavo Yacamán, ahead of the Spirit of Daytona Racing's Corvette DP and Wayne Taylor Racing's Corvette DP. Coyote (chassis)
Coyote was a brand of racing chassis designed and built for the use of A. J. Foyt's race team in USAC Championship car racing including the Indianapolis 500. It was used from 1966 to 1983 with Foyt himself making 141 starts in the car, winning 25 times. George Snider had the second most starts with 24. Jim McElreath has the only other win with a Coyote chassis. Foyt drove a Coyote to victory in the Indy 500 in 1967 and 1977. Richard Westbrook
Richard Westbrook (born 10 July 1975) is a British professional racing driver noted for his success in racing Porsche and International sports cars. As a junior, he attended St Joseph's College, Ipswich. He has won both the Porsche Supercup international championship (in 2006 & 2007) and the Porsche Carrera Cup in his native Britain (2004). Michael Valiante
Michael Valiante (born November 11, 1979, in New Westminster, British Columbia) is a Canadian racing driver. Formula racing Valiante began racing in karting where his success earned him a full-season scholarship in the Skip Barber 2.0 Series. In his first season, Valiante was both series champion and rookie of the year. Following this success he moved on the Barber Dodge Pro Series and then to the Toyota Atlantic Championship. Driving for the Lynx Racing team in 2001, Valiante was able to finish eighth in the series championship despite competing in only five events. His performance impressed Lynx enough to sign him for two more seasons. 2002 was Valiante's best year in the series. Jeroen Bleekemolen (born 23 October 1981 in Heemstede) is a Dutch professional racing driver. In the Chrysler Viper GTS-R he drove in the FIA GT Championship, with great success. The Dodge Viper is a sports car that was manufactured by Dodge (by SRT for 2013 and 2014), a division of American car manufacturer FCA US LLC from 1992 until 2017, having taken a brief hiatus in 2007 and from 2010 to 2012.
