2009–10 Feyenoord Season
The 2009–10 season was the first season under new coach Mario Been. The former Feyenoord striker was manager of NEC, and has been assistant-coach of Bert van Marwijk at Feyenoord in the past. Feyenoord welcomed five new players: Dani Fernández joined on a free transfer from NEC; Sekou Cissé signed a four-year deal after his transfer from Roda JC, Kamohelo Mokotjo came over from SuperSport United; and loan agreements were made with Borac Čačak for Aleksandar Ignjatović and with Nantes for Stefan Babović. Pre-season Feyenoord began the pre-season with a 5–0 win against the amateurs of SC Feyenoord. Feyenoord then played the amateurs of BVV Wit-Rood-Wit (1–10 win), BVV Barendrecht (0–2 win) and BSV Limburgia (0–12 win). Mario Been
Marinus Antonius Been (born 11 December 1963) is a Dutch football manager and former professional player. As a footballer, Been played for Feyenoord, Pisa, Roda JC, Heerenveen, FC Tirol Innsbruck and Excelsior. He played in an attacking midfield position and was nicknamed "Mariodona" for his dribbling skills, after Diego Maradona and his first name. Playing career Club Born in Rotterdam, South Holland, Been made his professional career debut for Feyenoord on 5 September 1982, in a 1–0 win over N.E.C. Been spent six years at Feyenoord from 1982 to 1988 before moving to Italian side Pisa Calcio in July 1988. During his time in Italy, the club played in Serie A (first) and Serie B (second). 2009–10 KNVB Cup
The 2009–10 KNVB Cup was the 92nd season of the Netherlands, Dutch national Association football, football knockout tournament. The competition began on 29 August 2009 with the matches of Round 1 and culminated with a double-leg Final on 25 April and 6 May 2010 respectively. AFC Ajax, Ajax won the final with a 6–1 on aggregate, winning their record 18th title. The winners of the competition will qualify for the UEFA Europa League 2010–11#Play-off round, play-off round of the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League. The final would be played initially on 25 April 2010 at 14.00 in Stadion Feijenoord, De Kuip at Rotterdam. Stadion Feijenoord
Stadion Feijenoord (), more commonly known by its nickname De Kuip (, the Tub), is a stadium in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It was completed in 1937. The name is derived from the Feijenoord district in Rotterdam, and from the club with the same name (although the club's name was internationalised to Feyenoord in 1973). The stadium's original capacity was 64,000. In 1949, it was expanded to 69,000, and in 1994 it was converted to a 51,117-seat all-seater. Leroy Fer
Leroy Johan Fer (born 5 January 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Turkish Süper Lig club Alanyaspor. He also represented the Netherlands, making 11 appearances between 2010 and 2014. Fer has various nicknames. Matches
A match is a tool for starting a fire. Typically, matches are made of small wooden sticks or stiff paper. One end is coated with a material that can be ignited by friction generated by striking the match against a suitable surface. The 2008–09 season was Feyenoord, in Dutch Eredivisie. the first season under new coach Gertjan Verbeek. On 14 January 2009, the bigger part of the players group declared they did not have any confidence in Gertjan Verbeek. Although the board and the supporters completely backed up Verbeek, the choice was made to sack the trainer because of financial considerations.
