2007–08 ISU Grand Prix Of Figure Skating
The 2007–08 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating was a series of international invitational competitions in the first half of the 2007–08 season. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies singles, pairs, and ice dancing over six events. Skaters earned a certain number of points per placement and the top six scoring skaters or teams at the end of the series qualified for the 2007–08 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, held in Turin, Italy. The Grand Prix series set the stage for the 2008 European Figure Skating Championships, the 2008 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, the 2008 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, and the 2008 World Figure Skating Championships, as well as each country's national championships. ISU Grand Prix Of Figure Skating
The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (known as ISU Champions Series from 1995 to 1997) is a series of senior international figure skating competitions organized by the International Skating Union. The invitational series was inaugurated in 1995, incorporating several previously existing events. 2006–07 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2006–07 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the tenth season of the ISU Junior Grand Prix, a series of international junior level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the Junior-level complement to the 2006–07 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, which was for Senior-level skaters. Skaters compete in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The top skaters from the series met at the Junior Grand Prix Final. Skaters who reached the age of 13 by July 1, 2006 but had not turned 19 (singles and females of the other two disciplines) or 21 (male pair skaters and ice dancers) were eligible to compete on the junior circuit. 2007 Trophée Éric Bompard
The 2007 Trophée Éric Bompard was the fourth event of six in the 2007–08 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at the Palais omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris on November 15–18. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters earned points toward qualifying for the 2007–08 Grand Prix Final. The compulsory dance was the Austrian Waltz. The competition was named after the Éric Bompard company, which became its chief sponsor in 2004.
