The 1992–93 English Hockey League season took place from October 1992 until March 1993. The Men's National League was sponsored by PizzaExpress and won by Hounslow. The Women's National League was won by Ipswich. The Men's Hockey Association Cup was won by Hounslow and the AEWHA Cup was won by Leicester. Men's England Hockey League
The Men's England Hockey League is a field hockey league organized by England Hockey that features men's teams from England and Wales. Format Regular season There are 62 teams in the league, the top tier consists of a Premier Division of twelve teams. Below this is tier two, which consists of two ten-team Division One regional teams (North and South). The third tier consists of three regional conferences North, West, and East, all consisting of ten teams. The teams play each other home and away during an 18 week season from September to April. The league has a winter break between December and February. The winners of the Premier Division regular season automatically qualify to play in the Euro Hockey League. League Finals Weekend The top four Premier Division teams from the regular season qualify for the League Finals Weekend. Cannock Hockey Club are an English professional field hockey team. They were established in 1905, and are based in the village of Hatherton, near Cannock, Staffordshire. Both the men's and women's first teams play in the England Hockey League Premier Division, the top division of hockey in England. Wimbledon Hockey Club is a field hockey club based in Wimbledon, London, England. It was established in 1883 and fields nine men's sides, seven ladies' sides as well as a comprehensive junior section.
