He recorded five assists in 37 games after making his debut. Lilleberg also appeared in 38 games with the Syracuse Crunch, recording 2 goals and 15 points. On July 11, 2024, the Lightning reached a two-year contract extension with defenseman J.J. Moser that will carry a $3.375M cap hit. By doing so the Lightning avoid going to salary arbitration with Moser. Moser joined the Lightning in the off season as part of the trade that sent Mikhail Sergachev to Utah.
