2024–25 Tampa Bay Lightning Season
The 2024–25 Tampa Bay Lightning season was the 33rd season for the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that was established on December 16, 1991. This was their first season since 2007–08 without franchise icon Steven Stamkos, as he signed with the Nashville Predators in free agency in the 2024 off-season. On April 5, the Lightning clinched a playoff berth for the eighth consecutive season following a loss by the New York Rangers to the New Jersey Devils. In the first round of the 2025 playoffs, the Lightning were defeated by their intrastate rival, the reigning and eventual Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers in five games for the second season in a row. The Atlantic Division is a name used by the National Hockey League to describe a division of teams in the Eastern Conference (NHL), Eastern Conference. The original Atlantic Division, the predecessor of which was the Patrick Division, was formed in 1993 as part of the Eastern Conference in a league realignment. 2007–08 Tampa Bay Lightning Season
The 2007–08 Tampa Bay Lightning season began October 4, 2007. It is the Lightning's 16th season in the National Hockey League (NHL). The Lightning introduced a new logo design prior to the start of the season. The new, "modernized" logo was similar to the team's original logo, with the edges on the lightning bolt, and the text looking "sharper." The wordmark "Lightning" was dropped from the logo. It was the first change to the team's primary logo in its 15-year history and coincided with the launch of the Rbk Edge jersey design, introduced League wide. The Lighting also announced that the team, along with the St. Pete Times Forum, had been tentatively sold to a group represented by former Columbus coach and general manager Doug MacLean. Mikkelin Jukurit is a professional ice hockey team in Liiga, the top tier Finnish ice hockey league. They play in Mikkeli, Finland, at the Kalevankankaan jäähalli (also known as Let's Go Areena for sponsorship reasons). Niko Huuhtanen (born 26 June 2003) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL) . Mitchell Alex Chaffee (born January 26, 1998) is an American professional ice hockey right winger currently playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL). Early life Chaffee was born on January 26, 1998, in Rockford, Michigan, to parents Dave and Kathy Chaffee.
