Rebrand

During the 2024 offseason, the Los Angeles Kings underwent a major rebrand. After promoting their new logo on June 20, the Kings released their new logo and jerseys on June 26. The new logo was heavily influenced by the
Wayne Gretzky Wayne Douglas Gretzky ( ; born January 26, 1961) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and former head coach. He played 20 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for four teams from 1979 to 1999. Nicknamed "the Great One ...
era branding, but the logo was modernized from purple and yellow to "enhanced silver" under the new theme: "Legacy Moves Us Forward." The jerseys were unveiled that same day with the silver font on the home jersey replaced by white and the away jersey's color font was updated to black.
