Gintarė Vostrecovaitė (born 6 May 1986) is a Lithuanian figure skater. She is a five time (2001–2005) Lithuanian Figure Skating Championships, Lithuanian national champion. She competed at twelve ISU Championships, eight of them at the senior level. Her highest placement at a senior event was 24th at the 2004 European Figure Skating Championships and her highest placement at a junior event was 24th at the 2003 World Junior Figure Skating Championships. Career Vostrecovaitė competed at the 2000 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, 2000 World Junior Championships but did not advance beyond the qualifying round. Gintarė Skaistė () (born 4 August 1981) is a Lithuanian politician, Member of the Seimas for Panemunė constituency. On 7 December 2020, Skaistė was approved to be the Minister of Finance in the Šimonytė Cabinet. On 12 December 2024, Rimantas Šadžius succeeded Skaistė as Minister of Finance. Education and early career Skaistė graduated from Kaunas University of Technology in 2010, receiving a bachelor's degree in economics. Gintarė Scheidt
Gintarė Volungevičiūtė-Scheidt (born 12 November 1982) is an Olympic medal-winning dinghy sailor from Lithuania. Career Growing up in Kaunas, she frequently went to the Kaunas Reservoir yacht club, where her uncle worked. Growing fond of sailing, she decided at an early age to take up the sport. Volungevičiūtė competed in the Olympic debut series for the women's single-handed dinghy class, the Laser Radial, during the 2008 Summer Olympics in China. She was the only sailor in the Lithuanian 2008 Olympic team. Volungevičiūtė won the 4th and 5th fleet races in the Olympic Laser Radial series, as well as the medal race, the last (10th), winning the silver medal. During a test event for the Olympics China held in 2007, Volungevičiūtė met Brazilian sailor Robert Scheidt, a two-time Laser gold medalist – who would also win a medal in 2008, in the Star class. Gintarė Petronytė (born 19 March 1989) is a Lithuanian retired professional female basketball player. As a member of the senior Lithuania women's national basketball team, Lithuanian women's national team, she played 158 games, scored 1844 points and participated in 2006 FIBA World Championship for Women, 2006 FIBA World Championship and EuroBasket Women 2015, 2015 EuroBasket. Gintarė Jautakaitė is a Lithuanian-born American female singer. Biography At the age of 6 she won a children's contest on a radio with a song she wrote herself. She graduated from the Stasys Šimkus Conservatory in Klaipėda (piano class and jazz improvisation), she studied at Vilnius University. In 1981 she won the first prize at the contest of young pop artists in Dnepropetrovsk. At the final concert of the festival Pesnya goda in 1981, she sang the song by Alexander Morozov to the verses of Nikolay Rubtsov ''In the Upper Room''. She immigrated to the United States in 1982 and became a U.S. citizen in 1983. In 1992 she performed in the presence of Pope John Paul II during his tour.
