2025–26 Svenska Cupen
Svenska cupen (, ), also known as the Swedish Cup in English language, English, is a Single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition in Football in Sweden, Swedish football and the main Swedish Association football, football cup. ''Svenska cupen'' usually refers to the men's tournament, although a Svenska cupen (women), women's tournament is also held. Each year 96 teams compete, comprising the 16 teams from Allsvenskan and the 16 teams of Superettan together with 64 teams from lower tiers of the Swedish football league system, league system. The winners qualify for the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League. The winner is awarded the Gustaf VI Adolfs Pokal, Gustaf VI Adolf cup. Nationalarenan, known as Strawberry Arena since 2024 for sponsorship reasons, is a retractable roof multi-purpose stadium in Stockholm, Sweden. Located next to the lake Råstasjön in Solna, just north of the City Centre, it is the largest stadium in Scandinavia. Since its opening, the venue has served as Sweden's national stadium for men's football, hence the name ''Nationalarenan''. The main tenants of the stadium are Sweden's men's national football team and Allsvenskan football club AIK; both relocated from their previous home at the Råsunda Stadium. The venue has a total capacity of 65,000 at concerts and 50,000 seated at football matches, but the stadium can be scaled down to provide for smaller events with approximately 20,000 guests. The Stockholms Fotbollförbund (; StFF) is one of the 24 district organisations of the Swedish Football Association. It administers lower tier football in Stockholm County. Background Stockholms Fotbollförbund is the governing body for football in Stockholm County (except some peripherical municipalities). The association was founded on 29 March 1917 when 49 teams registered with the organisation. In the last decade the number of senior clubs has been well over 500 clubs. 2015–16 Svenska Cupen
The 2015–16 Svenska Cupen will be the 60th season of Svenska Cupen and the fourth season with the current format. The winners of the competition will earn a place in the second qualifying round of the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League. A total of 96 clubs will enter the competition. The final was played on 5 May 2016 and contested between Malmö FF and BK Häcken at Swedbank Stadion, Malmö, with BK Häcken winning. Teams Round and draw dates The schedule of the competition is as follows. Qualifying rounds The only two associations of the Swedish District Football Associations that had a qualifying round were Dalarnas FF and Örebro Läns FF, with the teams from other districts being determined though district championships or by club ranking in 2014. Round 1 64 teams from the third tier or lower of the Swedish league system will compete in this round.
