The 2024–25 Hannover 96 season was the 129th season in the football club's history and 29th overall and sixth consecutive season in the second flight of German football, the 2. Bundesliga. Hannover 96 also participated in this season's edition of the domestic cup, the DFB-Pokal. This was the 66th season for Hannover in the Heinz von Heiden Arena, located in Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany. Hannoverscher Sportverein von 1896, commonly referred to as Hannover 96 (), is a German professional association football, football club based in the city of Hanover, Lower Saxony. They played in the Bundesliga for a total of 30 years between 1964 and 2019 and currently play in the 2.
