The original site served as the base for the bank's sports clubs, including Lloyds Bank Cricket Club and Lloyds Bank RFC. As of August 2022, nine first-class, 15 List A and 23 Twenty20 matches have been held at the ground. Other than one first-class match between West Indies A and India A in July 2018, all of the matches on the ground have featured Kent as the home team. Two women's One Day International matches were held at the ground in 1993 and the ground has been used by Kent's women's side and the South East Stars, one of the eight regional sides in English domestic women's cricket, have played matches on it.
