Project DIVA F
is a 2012 rhythm game created by Sega and Crypton Future Media for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3. It was released on the PlayStation Vita in Japan on August 30, 2012 as the fifth entry in the '' Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA'' series. The game debuted at Sony's E3 2012 booth in June 2012 under the name of ''Hatsune Miku'' so as to gauge interest for the game. Like previous games in the series, the game primarily makes use of Vocaloids, a series of singing synthesizer software, and the songs created using these Vocaloids, most notably the virtual-diva Hatsune Miku. A PlayStation 3 version of the game, titled (the only difference being the title uses a capital F is used as opposed to the original Vita version's lowercase f) was released on March 7, 2013. Joypolis
is a chain of indoor amusement parks created by Sega and run by CA Sega Joypolis. Beginning on July 20, 1994 with the original location sited in Yokohama, Japan, Joypolis centers have since opened in several cities in Japan and later China. The parks feature arcade games and amusement rides based on Sega's intellectual properties, original themes, and licensed franchises. Alongside the predecessor Galbo venues and the overseas spin-offs SegaWorld London and Sega World Sydney, they were officially referred to under the "Amusement Theme Park" or "ATP" concept by Sega in the 1990s. Senbonzakura (song)
is a 2011 song written by Japanese music producer , utilizing the Vocaloid 2 voicebank Hatsune Miku. First posted onto video sharing site Niconico, on , the song quickly became viral and inspired multiple cover versions and other derivative works. Release and reception "Senbonzakura" was first posted onto Niconico on 17 September 2011 by Kurousa-P. Accompanied by a fast rock-inspired beat, the lyrics reference the Meiji Restoration and the TaishÅ era. The accompanying music video, illustrated by , similarly draws inspiration from the same time period and features Hatsune Miku in a military-esque uniform. After its release on Niconico, the music video became viral and broke one million views in 42 days (by 29 October). The song is also very popular among karaoke singers. is a Japanese media franchise based on characters created by illustrator Ryohei Fuke, also known as Huke. It revolves around its eponymous character, a mysterious black haired girl with a blazing blue eye. The original illustration inspired a song of the same name by Supercell (band), Supercell featuring the Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, which gained popularity on the Nico Nico Douga website. Nyan Cat is a YouTube video uploaded in April 2011, which became an internet meme. The video merged a Japanese pop song with an animated cartoon cat with a Pop-Tarts, Pop-Tart for a torso flying through space and leaving a rainbow trail behind. The video ranked at number five on the list of most viewed YouTube videos in 2011. Origin Animated GIF On April 2, 2011, the Animated GIF, GIF animation of the cat was posted by 25-year-old Christopher Torres of Dallas, Texas, who uses the name "prguitarman", on his website ''LOL-Comics''.
