Warriors (Lisa Mitchell Album)
''Warriors'' is the third studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Lisa Mitchell. It was released in Australia and New Zealand on 14 October 2016. The album was produced by Eric Dubowsky. The album was announced on 2 August 2016, with Mitchell stating: "This album is personal. There's a lot of thinking about my own kind of mythology – of myself, my life, why things are the way they are. And a lot of it is to do with childhood." Additionally, Mitchell told auspOp the album will be "sonically different" and dance had infiltrated her writing, adding "We really got rid of a lot of guitar and piano in this album." The album's lead single "The Boys" was released on 5 August 2016, with the video premiering on YouTube on 1 August. The album's second single "Warhol" was released on 14 October 2016, with a live video premiering on 6 October 2016. Lisa Mitchell
Lisa Helen Mitchell (born 22 March 1990) is an Australian singer-songwriter who grew up in Albury, New South Wales. Mitchell currently lives in Melbourne and is working on her fourth studio album. Mitchell finished sixth in the 2006 season of ''Australian Idol''. Her debut extended play, '' Said One to the Other'' (4 August 2007), topped iTunes in Australia and she signed with London-based publisher, Little Victories, a subsidiary of Sony/ATV. By 2008 Mitchell had relocated to the UK where she recorded her debut studio album, ''Wonder'' (31 July 2009), which peaked at No. 6 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Eric J Dubowsky also known as Eric J, is a Grammy, Emmy, ARIA, and APRA award-winning mixer, songwriter and record producer. Eric grew up in the New York City suburb of Tenafly, New Jersey and graduated from Tenafly High School in 1993.
