''When They Play That Song'' is the fourth EP by Lisa Mitchell. The EP was announced in August 2017 with Mitchell posting on her Facebook page "So, you know how I recorded a version of ''The O.C.'' theme song "California" by Phantom Planet? Well, I decided to record a few more songs from around that time" adding it's "an EP of moments from 90s films". Reception Lauren from Sounds of Oz said: "Lisa approaches all the songs with a delicate touch. She needs little more than an acoustic guitar and her sweet, whispery voice to bring them to life. Lisa Mitchell
Lisa Helen Mitchell (born 22 March 1990) is an Australian singer-songwriter who grew up in Albury, New South Wales. Mitchell currently lives in Melbourne and is working on her fourth studio album. Mitchell finished sixth in the 2006 season of ''Australian Idol''. Her debut extended play, '' Said One to the Other'' (4 August 2007), topped iTunes in Australia and she signed with London-based publisher, Little Victories, a subsidiary of Sony/ATV. Jason Francesco Schwartzman (born June 26, 1980) is an American actor and musician. Nina Elisabet Persson (; born 6 September 1974) is the lead singer and lyricist for the Swedish rock band The Cardigans. She has also worked as a solo artist, releasing two albums as A Camp and one under her own name, and has also appeared as a guest artist with several other acts. Anders Peter Svensson is a Swedish record producer, songwriter, and musician. He is the main songwriter and guitarist of the band the Cardigans. He started playing guitar at the age of eight, and in his teens he went on to play with local bands. After meeting bass player Magnus Sveningsson, they formed The Cardigans in 1992. Peter Svensson is credited with writing the music and melodies for almost all of the group's original songs. In 1998, he released a side/solo project called Paus. All songs were co-written together with Joakim Berg from the band Kent. The drums were played by The Cardigans' drummer Bengt Lagerberg. In 1999, the Paus album and Svensson’s work on The Cardigans' fourth album, Gran Turismo, earned him a Swedish Grammy as Composer of the Year. "Lovefool" is a song written by Peter Svensson and Nina Persson for Swedish Rock music, rock band the Cardigans' third studio album, ''First Band on the Moon'' (1996). It was released as the album's lead single in Sweden in mid-1996 and on 9 September 1996 in the United Kingdom. In the United States, the song was serviced to radio in August 1996. A few months after its release, the track was included in the Baz Luhrmann film ''Romeo + Juliet'', helping the song gain international recognition. Bo Stefan Alexander Olsdal (born 31 March 1974) is a Swedish-Luxembourgish bassist/guitarist of the alternative rock band Placebo, he is part of the electronic band Digital 21 + Stefan Olsdal and launched the electronic/dance remix at Hotel Persona. Biography Olsdal was born in Gothenburg, Sweden. His family moved to Luxembourg when he was young and went to the American International School of Luxembourg along with fellow band member Brian Molko (though the two did not cross paths at this time). Olsdal began playing music in his school's orchestra in 1987. He completed his high school education in Sweden and moved to London in 1993, where he attended the Musicians Institute. "Every You Every Me" is a song by British alternative rock band Placebo, released as the third single from their second album, '' Without You I'm Nothing'', on 25 January 1999. It was released as a 2-CD set and on cassette, but promotional copies on 12-inch vinyl exist. Absolute are a British music production team responsible for a number of hits in the 1990s and the 2000s.
