Lisa Mitchell
Lisa Helen Mitchell (born 22 March 1990) is an Australian singer-songwriter who grew up in Albury, New South Wales. Mitchell currently lives in Melbourne and is working on her fourth studio album. Mitchell finished sixth in the 2006 season of ''Australian Idol''. Her debut extended play, '' Said One to the Other'' (4 August 2007), topped iTunes in Australia and she signed with London-based publisher, Little Victories, a subsidiary of Sony/ATV. By 2008 Mitchell had relocated to the UK where she recorded her debut studio album, ''Wonder'' (31 July 2009), which peaked at No. 6 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The Stables Recording Studio was the original name of the recording studio now known as Red Moon Studios, located in Australia's Macedon Ranges. It was originally owned by Evermore front man Jon Hume) and was designed and built for the recording of Evermore's albums but has since been used by many other artists. Dann Hume (born 1 September 1987) is a New Zealand musician, music producer, mix engineer and songwriter. Hume began his career with his two brothers (with Peter Hume and Jon Hume) who make up the alternative rock band, Evermore since 1999. Biography Dann is the youngest brother of the Hume family. In 1999 the brothers formed Evermore in Feilding. He has co-written songs for Evermore such as "Running", "Light Surrounding You" as well as the first single from ''Dreams'', " It's Too Late". Soon after the release of Evermore's fourth studio album '' Follow the Sun'' in late 2012, Dann stepped away from touring with the band to focus on his music production. ''Warriors'' is the third studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Lisa Mitchell. It was released in Australia and New Zealand on 14 October 2016. The album was produced by Eric Dubowsky. The album was announced on 2 August 2016, with Mitchell stating: "This album is personal. There's a lot of thinking about my own kind of mythology – of myself, my life, why things are the way they are. And a lot of it is to do with childhood." Additionally, Mitchell told auspOp the album will be "sonically different" and dance had infiltrated her writing, adding "We really got rid of a lot of guitar and piano in this album." "Spiritus" is a song performed and written by Australian singer–songwriter Lisa Mitchell. The song was released on 27 March 2012 as the lead single from her third extended play'', Spiritus''. It was also included on her second studio album, '' Bless This Mess''. The track peaked at number 91 on the ARIA Chart. In an interview with Tom and Alex on Triple J on 27 March 2012, Mitchell said; "Spiritus means breath in Latin and I've been doing a lot of yoga lately and a lot of breathing; that's the main thing you concentrate on.
