WTA International Tournaments
The WTA International Tournaments was a category for professional tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. The winner of a WTA International adds 280 points to her WTA ranking. For the 2020 season, there were 32 tournaments, all knock-out tournaments with a prize money for every event at $275,000 ($775,000 for Shenzhen, and $525,000 for Guangzhou and Hong Kong). Tennis
Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. The object of the game is to manoeuvre the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. The player who is unable to return the ball validly will not gain a point, while the opposite player will. Tennis is an Olympic sport and is played at all levels of society and at all ages. Rabat

The Morocco Open or Rabat Grand Prix (for sponsorship reasons called the Grand Prix de SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem), is a women's professional tennis tournament currently held in Rabat, Morocco. This WTA Tour event is classified as an International tournament and is played on outdoor clay courts. Tímea Babos is the doubles record holder with three wins. Patricia Wartusch, Émilie Loit, Iveta Benešová won both singles and doubles titles the same year. History The event started in July 2001 in Casablanca, Morocco. It stayed in that city until 2005, when it was moved to Rabat the first time. In 2007, the tournament changed location again, this time to Fez. In 2013 it was relocated to Marrakesh, before returning to Rabat in 2016. The tournament is named after Princess Lalla Meryem, the sister of Mohammed VI, King of Morocco. Internationaux De Strasbourg
The Internationaux de Strasbourg (formally known as the Strasbourg Grand Prix) is a professional women's tennis tournament held in Strasbourg, France. It is an International-level outdoor event of the WTA Tour played on clay courts. The tournament has been organized in May since its inception in 1987 and serves as a warm-up event to the French Open which is played a week later. The tournament was played at the Hautepierre before moving to the Strasbourg’s Tennis Club in 2011. The Prague Open (currently branded as the Livesport Prague Open for sponsorship reasons) is a professional women's tennis tournament held in Prague, Czech Republic. It began in 2010, initially as an ITF Circuit $50,000 event upgraded to $100,000. Subsequently, from 2015 onwards it became a WTA International tournament and the prize money increased to $250,000. İstanbul Cup
The İstanbul Cup is a WTA tennis tournament held in Istanbul, Turkey, organised for professional female tennis players. It is classified as an International-level tournament on the WTA Tour. Held annually since May 2005, it was played on outdoor clay courts until 2009, after which the organisers decided to switch the surface to outdoor hard courts. It was not held in between 2011–2013, due to the WTA Tour Championships moving to Istanbul for those years. It resumed for the 2014 WTA season. In 2016, the tournament surface was changed back to clay. It is played in the Istanbul Tennis Center of the Turkish Tennis Federation, located in the İstinye neighborhood.
