WARP-CD
WARP-CD, virtual channel 20 ( UHF digital channel 22), is a low-powered, Class A television station licensed to Tampa, Florida, United States. The station is owned by the Sunshine Broadcasting Company. History WARP originally began as an affiliate of The Box until that network's acquisition by Viacom in 2001, it became MTV2. Since then, the station began to broadcast more infomercials on its schedule. Broadcasting on a tower on Gandy Boulevard in St. Petersburg, adjacent to Goodwill, WARP broadcasts on an east–west beam, towards central Pinellas County and Tampa, to protect the signals of Gainesville's ABC affiliate WCJB-TV and Fort Myers' NBC affiliate WBBH-TV, both also broadcasting on channel 20. The station, previously WARP-CA, began broadcasting a digital-only signal in late 2009. WSVT-LD
WSVT-LD, virtual channel 18 (Ultra high frequency, UHF Digital terrestrial television, digital channel 23), is a Low-power broadcasting#Television, low-powered Daystar Television Network, Daystar-Owned-and-operated station, owned-and-operated television station City of license, licensed to Tampa Bay area, Tampa Bay, Florida, United States. The station is owned by the Word of God Fellowship. Daystar reached a deal to sell WSVT-CD, along with WUDT-LD, WUDT-CD (channel 23) in Detroit, to LocusPoint Networks in December 2012. The deal will make WSVT a sister station to WARP-CD (channel 20), which LocusPoint acquired a month earlier. MTV2
MTV2 (formerly M2) is an American pay television Cable television, channel owned by the Paramount Media Networks division of Paramount Global. The channel launched initially as an all-music video service, once the original MTV had started to shift its programming. As with its parent network, MTV2's focus on music programming would gradually be downplayed during the 2000s. By 2011, MTV2 would primarily target young adult men with original and acquired lifestyle and reality programming, reruns of male-targeting shows from MTV, acquired sitcoms and movies, and a daily block of Hip hop music, hip hop and Rock music, rock genre videos in the early mornings. Standard-definition television (SDTV, SD, often shortened to standard definition) is a television system which uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. "Standard" refers to it being the prevailing specification for broadcast (and later, cable) television in the mid- to late-20th century, and compatible with legacy analog broadcast systems. Owned by Gray Television, the station maintains studios on Northwest 43rd Street in Gainesville, and its transmitter is located near Micanopy, Florida.
