W-inds Members
is a Japanese pop boy band managed by Vision Factory and signed to the Pony Canyon label since 2000. The group consists of Ryohei Chiba and Keita Tachibana; Ryuichi Ogata left the group in 2020. Tachibana is the lead singer of the group, while Chiba and Ogata provide backing vocals and rap. W-inds released their debut single, "Forever Memories", in 2001. They were named "Best New Artists" at the Japan Cable Awards and Japan Record Awards for the release of "Paradox." In addition to selling 5 million copies of CDs in Japan, W-inds has earned numerous awards and accolades from China, Hong Kong, and South Korea. The MAMA Awards (formerly Mnet Asian Music Awards) is a major music awards ceremony presented annually by entertainment company CJ E&M. It is broadcast live simultaneously on television and radio, nationally and internationally by the NHK network and by some overseas (mainly cable) broadcasters who buy the program. Folder 5 (also spelled Folder5) (フォルダファイヴ ''Forudafaivu'') were a five-girl Japanese pop idol group on the Avex Trax music label. The group's music was known for its Eurobeat style. The band's music was produced by Takashi Kimura. Band History Folder 5 was a spinoff group from another J-pop group Folder, also signed to Avex. Flame {stylized as FLAME) was a Japanese boy band formed in 2001 by Vision Factory. On March 1, 2010, they disbanded. Career Flame debuted in 2001 with their single "Mune no Kodō." Prior to debut, all four members had participated in the Junon Super Boy Contest. The group steadily released singles until their first album was released in late 2002 after four singles. A fifth single followed that in March 2003, but it was a different image and sound for the boy band. After their sixth single, "Venus", their releases became sporadic. In 2004, Kaneko left Flame to pursue a solo career.
