Vladimir Trofimenko
Vladimir Trofimenko (russian: Владимир Трофименко; 22 March 1953 in Syzran — 1994) was a pole vaulter who represented the USSR. He won the 1978 European Championships in Athletics as well as two medals at the European Indoor Championships The European Indoor Championships was a men's tennis tournament played in Berlin, Germany. Syzran ( rus, Сызрань, p=ˈsɨzrənʲ) is the third largest city in Samara Oblast, Russia, located on the right bank of Saratov Reservoir of the Volga River.
