Vesko Mihajlović
Vesko Mihajlović (Serbian Cyrillic: Веско Михајловић; born 17 March 1968) is a Serbian former football midfielder and manager. He is widely considered to be one of the best foreign players to have played in the Cypriot Championship. He became a Cypriot citizen in 2002. Career During his playing career he represented FK Sloga Kraljevo, FK Proleter Zrenjanin, FK Vojvodina in Serbia and APOEL, Enosis Neon Paralimni, Olympiakos Nicosia, Anorthosis and Omonia in Cyprus. Mihajlović scored three goals in 18 Yugoslav Second League matches for Proleter during the 1989–90 season, and led the team in scoring with ten goals in 31 Yugoslav First League matches during the 1990–91 season. He was an excellent attacking midfielder and skilled at free kicks. During his tenure with Omonia he struck a partnership with Rainer Rauffmann. Kraljevo
Kraljevo ( sr-cyr, Краљево, ) is a city and the administrative center of the Raška District in central Serbia. 2004–05 Cypriot Cup
The 2004–05 Cypriot Cup was the 63rd edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 54 clubs entered the competition. It began on 11 September 2004 with the first round and concluded on 22 May 2005 with the final which was held at GSP Stadium. Omonia won their 12th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Digenis 2–0 in the final. Format In the 2004–05 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division, the Cypriot Second Division, the Cypriot Third Division and 12 of the 14 teams of the Cypriot Fourth Division. The competition consisted of seven rounds. In the first and in the second round each tie was played as a single leg and was held at the home ground of the one of the two teams, according to the draw results. Henk Houwaart
Henk Houwaart (born August 31, 1945) is a Dutch football manager and a former football player. Born in the Hague, Houwaart began his career in 1963 as a footballer playing for ADO Den Haag until 1967, when he left the club to play for FC Twente. After being selected once for the Dutch national team, he continued his career in 1969 in Belgium to play for Club Brugge K.V. and in his first season his team won the Belgian Cup and the championship in 1973. Rainer Rauffmann
Markos Rainer Rauffmann (born 26 February 1967) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. After having played mainly for modest clubs in his country of birth, Germany, he revived his career in Cyprus where he played with success for Omonia, eventually representing the Cyprus national team despite having already reached his 30s. Club career Germany Born in Kleve, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rauffmann moved at the age of 16 to FC Amberg, a local team playing in the Oberliga, but only managed to stay a season there before moving to the seventh level. Cypriot Championship
The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division.
