Vasili Rogov
Vasili Rogov ( he, וסילי רוגוב; born November 3, 1991) is an Israeli ice dancer. With Allison Reed, he is the 2014 Tallinn Trophy champion and 2015 Bavarian Open silver medalist. They qualified for the free dance at two ISU Championships. Skating career Rogov began learning to skate in 1998. After an early partnership with Olga Klimkovich, he teamed up with Ekaterina Bugrov in the summer of 2010. Bugrov/Rogov competed together for two seasons, representing Israel. They appeared at four ISU Championships – the 2011 World Junior Championships in Gangneung, South Korea; the 2012 World Junior Championships in Minsk, Belarus; the 2012 European Championships in Sheffield, England; and the 2012 World Championships in Nice, France – but never qualified for the free dance. 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy
The 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy was held on September 26–28, 2013 at the Eislaufzentrum Oberstdorf. It is held annually in Oberstdorf, Germany and is named after the Nebelhorn, a nearby mountain. Medals were awarded in men's and ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Nebelhorn was the last qualifying event for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Overview Though most Olympic spots were earned at the 2013 World Championships, six spots in each of men's and ladies' singles, four in pair skating, and five in ice dance were available at Nebelhorn for countries which remained without a berth in a discipline. Marius De Vries
Marius de Vries (born 1961) is an English music producer and composer. He has won a Grammy Award from four nominations, two BAFTA Awards, and an Ivor Novello Award. Education Marius de Vries was educated at St Paul's Cathedral School, Bedford School (between 1975-1980) and then at Peterhouse, Cambridge. Career Music producer Recording artists he has collaborated with include Bjork, Madonna, Massive Attack, David Bowie, U2, Rufus Wainwright, Chrissie Hynde, Neil Finn, Annie Lennox, Bebel Gilberto, David Gray, P.J. Craig Armstrong (composer)
Craig Armstrong, (born 29 April 1959) is a Scottish composer of modern orchestral music, electronica and film scores. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 1981, and has since written music for the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the London Sinfonietta. Armstrong's score for Baz Luhrmann's ''Romeo + Juliet'' earned him a BAFTA for Achievement in Film Music and an Ivor Novello. He would collaborate with Luhrmann again on his next two films, ''Moulin Rouge!'' and ''The Great Gatsby (2013 film), The Great Gatsby''. His score for the former earned him the 2001 American Film Institute's composer of the Year award, a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score and a BAFTA. Nellee Hooper
Nellee Hooper (born Paul Andrew Hooper on 15 March 1963) is a British record producer, remixer and songwriter known for his work with many major recording artists beginning in the late 1980s. He also debuted as a motion picture music composer with Scottish composer Craig Armstrong and Marius De Vries for the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann's ''Romeo + Juliet'' in 1996. Hooper has produced seven Grammy Award-winning recordings for artists including Smashing Pumpkins, U2, Soul II Soul, and Sinéad O'Connor. He has been awarded ''Q'''s Best Producer award and twice been Music Week Producer of the Year. The free dance (FD) is a segment of an ice dance competition, the second contested. It follows the rhythm dance (RD). Short Dance
The short dance (SD) was the first segment of an ice dancing competition from the 2010–2011 to the 2017–2018 seasons. It was approved in June 2010 by the International Skating Union (ISU). It merged the original dance (OD) and compulsory dance (CD), which were both discontinued. The ISU renamed the short dance to the rhythm dance (RD) in 2018. The SD was composed of two parts: the pattern dance (formerly known as the compulsory dance), which lasted about one minute and could be placed anywhere in the SD, and the creative section, which took up most of the SD. The 2015 World Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2014–15 season. The 2015 European Figure Skating Championships were held 26 January – 1 February 2015 in Stockholm, Sweden.
