''Vasil'' is a 2022 Spanish-Bulgarian comedy-drama film written and directed by Avelina Prat in her directorial feature debut, which stars Ivan Barnev (as the title character), Karra Elejalde, and Alexandra Jiménez alongside Susi Sánchez, and Sue Flack. Plot The plot follows the relation of friendship developed between Vasil (an intelligent and charismatic Bulgarian immigrant, as well as skilled player of bridge and chess) and Alfredo, a retired and widowed gruffy architect who welcomes the former into his house, amazement of Luisa (Alfredo's daughter as well as translator and bibliophile) notwithstanding. Ivan Barnev
Ivan Barnev ( bg, Иван Бърнев; born 15 July 1973) is a Bulgarian actor. He is best known for his performance as Jan DÃtÄ› in ''I Served the King of England'' (2006), as well as his frequent collaborations with filmmakers Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov in films such as ''The Lesson'' (2014), '' The Father'' (2019) and ''Triumph''. Career Barnev was born in 1973 in Dobrich, and grew up in Varna. He studied at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts, initially majoring in drama, before moving to Stefan Danailov's pantomime class and graduating in 1996. Barnev began his career in theater, and won an Askeer Award for Rising Star for his performance in '' Dinner of Fools'' in 2002. 3/24 () is a Spanish Catalan-language free-to-air news and information network operated by Televisió de Catalunya (TVC). It was launched on 11 September 2003. History 3/24 was born on 11 September 2003 as an initiative of the Catalan public television to develop digital terrestrial television in Catalonia. However, a general lack of DVB-T set top boxes combined with slight public interest towards digital terrestrial television prompted TVC to simulcast in analogue. From its launch on 11 September 2003 until 12 June 2004, 3/24 was on air daily from 11p.m. till 8:30a.m.. The channel now operates as a regular full-time channel.
