VII Constitutional Government Of East Timor
The VII Constitutional Government ( pt, VII Governo Constitucional, tet, VII Governu Konstitusionál) was the seventh Constitutional Government of East Timor, Constitutional Government (Administration (government), administration or Cabinet (government), cabinet) under the Constitution of East Timor. Formed on 15 September 2017, it was led by the country's second Prime Minister of East Timor, Prime Minister, Mari Alkatiri, and was replaced by the VIII Constitutional Government of East Timor, VIII Constitutional Government on 22 June 2018. Rui Maria de Araújo (born 21 May 1964) is an East Timorese politician who served as its prime minister from 2015 to 2017. He is a physician and member of Fretilin. He was Minister of Health from 2001 to 2006 and Deputy Prime Minister from 2006 to 2007. Aurélio Sérgio Cristóvão Guterres (born 27 July 1966) is an East Timorese academic and politician, and a member of the Fretilin political party. From September 2017 to June 2018, he was Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in the VII Constitutional Government of East Timor led by Mari Alkatiri. Early life and career Guterres undertook the whole of his schooling at St Joseph's High School in , Dili, from which he graduated in 1983. He then worked as a mathematics teacher at the school for two further years. José Maria dos Reis Costa is an East Timorese politician, and a member of the Fretilin political party. From June 2020 to July 2023, he was the more junior of East Timor's two Deputy Prime Ministers, and also the Minister of Planning and Territory, in the VIII Constitutional Government of East Timor led by Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak. Hermenegildo Augusto "Ágio" Cabral Pereira Alves (also known as ''Ágio'' Pereira) (born 31 March 1956) is an East Timorese politician, and a member of the National Congress for Timorese Reconstruction (CNRT). He is the incumbent Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, serving since July 2023 in the IX Constitutional Government of East Timor led by Prime Minister Xanana Gusmão. National Congress For Timorese Reconstruction
The National Congress for Timorese Reconstruction ( pt, Congresso Nacional de Reconstrução de Timor, CNRT) is a political party in East Timor founded by former President Xanana Gusmão in March 2007 in preparation for the 2007 parliamentary election. According to provisional results, the party won 24.10% of the vote in the 2007 election, placing second behind FRETILIN, which won 29%. Based on the results, the CNRT would have 18 seats in parliament. Adriano do Nascimento (born 12 January 1970) is an East Timorese politician, teacher and university lecturer. He is a member of the Democratic Party (East Timor), Democratic Party (PD).
