The V-League is a South Korean club volleyball competition. It was founded in 2005 and currently has seven men's clubs and seven women's clubs. 2005 V-League (South Korea)
The 2005 V-League was the inaugural season of the V-League (South Korea), V-League, the highest professional volleyball league in South Korea. The season began on 20 February 2005 to 8 May 2005. Games were played at venues in Daejeon, Incheon, Cheonan and Gumi. The inaugural season champions are Daejeon Samsung Bluefangs, Samsung Bluefangs for men's while Daejeon KGC, KT&G for women's. Cheonan
Cheonan (; 천안시, ''Cheonan-si''), also spelled Ch'ŏnan, is a city in South Chungcheong, South Korea. Cheonan has a population of 666,417 (2018), making it the most-populous city or county in South Chungcheong, and the third most-populous city in the Hoseo region after Daejeon and Cheongju. Hwaseong IBK Altos
Hwaseong IBK Altos ( ko, 화성 IBK 기업은행 알토스) is a South Korean women's professional volleyball team founded in 2011. In the 2012−13 V-League season, just one year after the team was founded, the club won both the regular season title, having won 25 out of 30 regular season games, and its first championship. The club became the first Korean professional sports team to win a championship title in their second season. Since then, the Altos have won two more championships, in the 2014–15 and 2016–17 seasons. They are based in Hwaseong and are members of the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO). Their home arena is Hwaseong Indoor Arena in Hwaseong. Uijeongbu () is a Administrative divisions of South Korea, city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Overview Uijeongbu is located north of the Korean capital Seoul; it lies inside a Defile (geography), defile, with mountains on two sides, and commands a natural choke point across the main traditional invasion route from the North into Seoul. Jangchung Gymnasium
The Jangchung Arena () is an indoor sporting arena located in Jung District, Seoul, South Korea. Volleyball teams GS Caltex Seoul KIXX and Seoul Woori Card WooriWON are the tenants.
