Uni-President Enterprises Corporation () is an international food conglomerate based in Tainan, Taiwan. It is the largest food production company in Taiwan as well as Asia, and has a significant market share in dairy products, foods and snacks, and beverages. It is also responsible for running Starbucks, 7-Eleven, Mister Donut and Carrefour in Taiwan. In addition, Uni-President has subsidiaries in Mainland China, Thailand and the Philippines. Furthermore, Uni-President is the owner of Uni-President Lions, a professional baseball team in Taiwan's Chinese Professional Baseball League. Tainan County
Tainan County was a county in southern Taiwan between 1945 and 2010. The county seat was in Sinying City. History Tainan County was established on 7 January 1946 on the territory of Tainan Prefecture () shortly after the end of World War II. In the early years, Tainan County consists of most territory of Tainan Prefecture except the territory near cities of Tainan and Kagi (Chiayi). Syuejia District, United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (), alternatively spelled Xuejia, is a district of about 24,857 residents in Tainan City, Taiwan. Name History After the handover of Taiwan from Japan to the Republic of China in 1945, Syuejia was organized as a rural township of Tainan County. On 2 February 1968, Syuejia was upgraded from rural township to urban township due to its population.
