Unicorse Team
Unicorse Team is a Hungarian auto racing team based in Tevel, Hungary. The team has raced in the TCR International Series, since 2017. The team also races in the FIA Central European Zone Circuit Championship. Having previously raced in the European Touring Car Cup amongst others. European Touring Car Cup Having first entered the championship in 2012, running a single Alfa Romeo 156 S2000 for Ferenc Ficza for the first two rounds, before Csapa Gáspár took over the car for the third round of the championship. Ficza finished eighth in the drivers championship, with Gáspár finishing tenth in the standings. They returned in 2013 again running an Alfa Romeo 156 S2000 for Slovak Filip Sládečka for two rounds, with Sládecka and the team battling with technical issues and only starting one out of four races. TCR International Series
The TCR International Series was an international touring car championship. The championship was promoted by World Sporting Consulting (WSC), founded by former World Touring Car Championship manager Marcello Lotti. It was marketed as a cost-effective spin-off of the WTCC, targeted at C-segment hatchbacks production-based touring cars. The title TCR follows the naming convention now used by the FIA to classify the cars that compete in touring car racing, with TC1 referring to the top tier as used by the FIA WTCC and TC2 referring to the legacy cars which principally compete in the FIA ETCC. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Type 940) is a small family car (C-segment) manufactured and marketed by Alfa Romeo as a 5-door hatchback. Production started near the end of 2009 and the model was introduced at the March 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The Giulietta placed second in the 2011 European Car of the Year awards. Between 2010 and 2019, production reached over 400,000. Automotodróm Slovakia Ring
Automotodróm Slovakia Ring is a motor racing circuit in Orechová Potôň, Dunajská Streda District in Slovakia, approximately away from Bratislava Airport. It was built between 2008 and 2009. Description New Zealand race car driver Matt Halliday suggested that the rear engine Porsches struggled with Slovakia Ring's long radius corners with much less front aerodynamics than the other cars. A major feature of the circuit is a prominent hump on one of the straights that causes some cars to fly with the front wheels off the ground. Only one car has flipped over entirely and crashed after going over the hump at a high speed. Prior to start of the 2014 season the hump between turns 2 and 3 was rebuilt. Norbert "Norbi" Kiss (born 2 May 1985 in Szombathely) is a Hungarian truck race driver. He is a four-time FIA European Truck Racing Championship champion. He is one of the most successful Hungarians in motorsport. Career He began racing with race car simulator, Live for Speed. The success he achieved in the simulator made people become aware of him. In 2005 Norbert Kiss raced for a short season in the Opel Astra Cup with four wins and was nominated Rookie of the Year. In 2006 he won the most prestigious brand cup in Hungary, the Renault Clio Cup at the first attempt. In the series he won ten times and only missed the rostrum once. At the end of that year he received the Rookie of the Year award. 2014 European Touring Car Cup
The 2014 FIA European Touring Car Cup was the tenth running of the FIA European Touring Car Cup. It consisted of five events in France, Slovakia, Austria, Belgium and Italy. The championship was split into three categories: Super 2000 for TC2 Turbo and TC2 machinery, Super 1600, and the Single-Make Trophy for cars such as the SEAT León Supercopa. In the Super 2000 class, TC2 Turbo honours were taken by Nikolay Karamyshev, who won six of the season's races. He won the championship by 10 points ahead of Maťo Homola, while Igor Skuz finished in 3rd position, taking 2 victories. Mikhail Grachev was the only other driver to take a class victory, at the Slovakia Ring. 2013 European Touring Car Cup
The 2013 FIA European Touring Car Cup was the ninth running of the FIA European Touring Car Cup. It consisted of five events in Italy, Slovakia, Austria and the Czech Republic. The championship was split into three categories: Super 2000, Super 1600, and the Single-Make Trophy for cars such as the SEAT León Supercopa. The Super Production category was abolished for this season. The 2013 season saw the introduction of the Lady Trophy Cup, with the best-placed female driver in either of the categories at each event receiving €10,000 in prize money. Ferenc Ficza
Ferenc Ficza Jr. (born 13 May 1996) is a Hungarian racing driver currently competing in the European Touring Car Cup. He previously competed in the TCR International Series and SEAT León Eurocup. Racing career Ficza began his career in 2008 in the Hungarian Touring Car Championship. He switched to the Hungarian Suzuki Bio Cup in 2009, he won the championship in 2010. In 2012 Ficza made his European Touring Car Cup debut with XFX Unicorse Team, driving an Alfa Romeo 156. In 2013 he stayed in the European Touring Car Cup but switched to Zengő Motorsport, racing in the Single-makes Trophy. He finished 8th in the championship standings that year. The FIA European Touring Car Cup was an annual touring car racing event, which had been held at various locations across Europe from 2005 to 2017. Unlike in previous years where it was a one-off event, in 2010 the series was a three round event. Alfa Romeo 156
The Alfa Romeo 156 (Type 932) is a compact executive car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Romeo. It was introduced at the 1997 Frankfurt Motor Show as the replacement for the Alfa Romeo 155. The 156 received a positive reception and in the following year went on to win the 1998 European Car of the Year award. The 156 saloon was discontinued in Europe late in 2005, while the Q4 Crosswagon continued in production until the end of 2007. Cars were assembled at the Fiat Group factory in Pomigliano d'Arco, Italy and at a General Motors facility in Rayong, Thailand.
