2014 European Touring Car Cup
The 2014 FIA European Touring Car Cup was the tenth running of the FIA European Touring Car Cup. It consisted of five events in France, Slovakia, Austria, Belgium and Italy. The championship was split into three categories: Super 2000 for TC2 Turbo and TC2 machinery, Super 1600, and the Single-Make Trophy for cars such as the SEAT León Supercopa. In the Super 2000 class, TC2 Turbo honours were taken by Nikolay Karamyshev, who won six of the season's races. He won the championship by 10 points ahead of Maťo Homola, while Igor Skuz finished in 3rd position, taking 2 victories. Mikhail Grachev was the only other driver to take a class victory, at the Slovakia Ring. For normally-aspirated cars, the TC2 class saw Petr Fulín take the honours; he won seven races and finished the other three races on the podium. Dmitry Aleksandrovich Bragin (russian: Дми́трий Алекса́ндрович Бра́гин, born 19 May 1982) is a Russian racing driver currently racing in the Russian Circuit Racing Series. World Touring Car Championship
The FIA World Touring Car Championship was an international touring car championship promoted by Eurosport Events and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It has had several different incarnations, including a single season in 1987 as the World Touring Car Championship and most recently a world championship (WTCC) that has run between 2005 and 2017. Following the 2017 season, an agreement was reached for the FIA WTCC to become FIA WTCR and use the TCR technical regulations. Plamen Simeonov Kralev ( bg, Пламен Симеонов Кралев, born 22 February 1973 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian racing driver and businessman. BMW 3 Series (E90)
The fifth generation of the BMW 3 Series range of compact executive cars is designated under the model codes E90 (saloon), E91 (estate, marketed as 'Touring'), E92 (coupé) and E93 (convertible). The model was introduced in December 2004, and produced by BMW until October 2013 and is often collectively referred to as the E90 or E9x. Proteam Motorsport is an Italian auto racing team based in Arezzo that was set up by former driver Valmiro Presenzini in 1997. They are best known for their efforts in the FIA World Touring Car Championship. Franz Engstler (born 25 July 1961) is a German auto racing driver. Racing career Born in Kempten im Allgäu, Engstler started racing in the European Hillclimbing Championship and the German Long Distance Cup, which he won. From 1988 he competed in German Formula Three, winning the class B title in 1989. In 1993 he switched to Touring car racing, where he was German Touring Car Championship Class 2 champion in an Alfa Romeo 155. Between 1994 and 1999, he raced in the German Super Touring Championship for various teams. He finished first in the 2000 German Touring Car Challenge, with two wins.
