2013 European Touring Car Cup
The 2013 FIA European Touring Car Cup was the ninth running of the FIA European Touring Car Cup. It consisted of five events in Italy, Slovakia, Austria and the Czech Republic. The championship was split into three categories: Super 2000, Super 1600, and the Single-Make Trophy for cars such as the SEAT León Supercopa. The Super Production category was abolished for this season. The 2013 season saw the introduction of the Lady Trophy Cup, with the best-placed female driver in either of the categories at each event receiving €10,000 in prize money. Diesel engines were banned from the championship. Aytaç Biter (born 5 November 1965 in Ankara, Turkey) is a Turkish auto racing driver. He competed in 2006 for Team Active in Turkish Formula Three Championship's 14 races achieving two wins and eight podiums, and finished the season in second position. In 2008, Biter raced in the Turkish Touring Car Championship's Super 2000 category driving a BMW 320si for Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport team. He completed twelve races with five podiums and no wins. Zengő Motorsport is a Hungarian motor racing team founded by Zoltán Zengő. They currently compete in the World Touring Car Cup and others TCR championships. The team also used to compete in the SEAT León Eurocup, where they won driver's titles in both 2009 and 2010, respectively. World Touring Car Championship SEAT León TDI (2010) The team ran a SEAT León 2.0 TDI in their first WTCC season in 2010 for Norbert Michelisz under the Zengő–Dension Team banner. He has competed in the European Touring Car Cup and will make his debut in the World Touring Car Championship at the 2013 FIA WTCC Race of Russia. Gilles Bruckner
Gilles Bruckner (born 17 June 1982 in Luxembourg City) is a Luxembourg racing driver, who has most famously competed in the European Touring Car Cup, as well as the ADAC Procar Series. He was the first ETCC Super 1600 champion from outside of Germany, having won the title for the first time in 2014. Lorenzo Veglia
Lorenzo Veglia (born 7 October 1996) is an Italian racing driver currently competing in the Italian GT Championship. He made his debut in 2015. Racing career Veglia began his career in 2013 in the European Touring Car Cup, he raced in the Super 1600 division. Finishing 4th in the standings that year. During his time in the European Touring Car Cup he raced under the pseudonym Romeo Luciano. He switched to the SEAT León Eurocup for 2014, he finished the season 12th in the standings. Citroën C2
The Citroën C2 is a supermini that was produced by the French manufacturer Citroën, with production starting August 2003. It replaced the Citroën Saxo and was built at the Aulnay plant, on the outskirts of Paris. The Citroën C2 was discontinued in October 2009, and replaced by the Citroën DS3 in January 2010. Along with the Citroën C3, the C2 successfully replaced the popular, but ageing Citroën Saxo. The two cars have relatively different designs however retain the same dashboard, allowing Citroën to grab different submarkets of the supermini class. The C2 was designed by Donato Coco. Petr Fulín (born 8 February 1977) is a Czech racing driver. He competed in the European Touring Car Cup, where he has won the championship twice. He is a former World Touring Car Championship driver, who made his debut in 2014. Racing career Fulín began his career in 2007 in the BMW 1 Challenge, finishing 2nd in championship. Michal Matějovský (born 20 October 1985 in Hradec Králové) is a Czech auto racing driver. Career Early racing included the Czech Škoda Matador Pick-up Championship, the Czech Škoda Octavia Cup, and the Czech BMW 1 Challenge. In 2008 he competed in the SEAT León Eurocup, finishing the season sixteenth on points. As a reward for his performance in the Eurocup, he entered one round of the FIA World Touring Car Championship at Brno in 2008. Diego Romanini (born 30 December 1978 in Pietrasanta) is an Italian auto racing driver. He has competed in the World Touring Car Championship and was the Austria Formula 3 Cup champion in 2001 and 2003. Career After starting his career in karting, he first started circuit racing in 1998 with Italian Formula Renault, before racing in the Italian Formula Campus Series. Proteam Motorsport
Proteam Motorsport is an Italian auto racing team based in Arezzo that was set up by former driver Valmiro Presenzini in 1997. They are best known for their efforts in the FIA World Touring Car Championship. Their time in the WTCC has seen them become the most successful independent team in the championship, winning three Independent Team titles in 1996, 2007 and 2008.
